  1. I got the body put together today and sanded. I took a measurement (for Lyn ), and it measures out at 11 3/8ths inches total. Here's the wheels I'm gonna use on it... More next time!
  2. this was delivered today... Always wanted a boat!
  3. Nobody's perfect Walter, but you need to give yourself credit. The cars look great, and I can tell what they are, so you're ahead of the game! What I did was take my camera, and a model, and just start shooting pics, and moving the adjustment switch. After each picture, I would switch it over to view, and study the picture, and take notes on which picture looked good until I adjusted the camera to take pics well with consistency. With a digital, it doesn't cost a thing to keep taking pictures, and deleting them, unlike 35mm cameras. I think you did a great job on all the kits. My biggest thing is foil, and it looks like you got it down to a science! Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more!!!
  4. Can't be my mom's car... She never got a drivers license... EVER!!! Car looks great Terry! Did the wheel covers come with the kit? Nice work!!!
  5. It do look good in BLACK... Don't it. I was planning to add the little strip lights on it like that one has in the center. Doesn't look bad at all! How about Indy Pace Car decals? Thanks for the pics Mike!!!
  6. He sent me a set of instructions for the Astrovette. He is a great person!!! Thanks Walter!!!
  7. Here ya go Bob... On second thought, I'll join ya...
  8. Bummer... What were they pics of?
  9. I'll be starting this one tomorrow!
  10. I calling finished, since all I have to add is the blower belt... here's the link to the last photos. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24975
  11. Since all I have left to do is add the blower belt, I'm calling this one (unofficially) finished... I'm really wanting to get started on my next project!
  12. No decals as of yet... Thanks! Not to worry George... It's not gonna be a contestant, so I'm not too worried about it. The electrical tape idea sounds good though! Thanks! I found some belt decals for it. It fits on the blower belt that you add to it... Pictures used by permission http://coffincorner.proboards.com/index.cg...mp;thread=11060 $15.00 including shipping, from Chuck Darnell. Thanks Chuck!
  13. Great work Bruce!!! It's starting to look real good! Still watching, and I'm loving it!
  14. Update part 2... I made a new driveshaft for it out of aluminum tubing, and re-did the headers to fit, then installed them, and custom made a quick change rear for it. Here's some pics... More to come soon!
  15. Thanks Lyle, but the engine came with masking tape belts, and they don't look very good. The texture makes it look like there are cracks in the belt... Here's an update... I added marker lights to the roof, installed the engine(I can still add the belts to it, I just have to take the body off), added wiring and fuel lines, and cut out the hood for the scoop... Almost finished!
  16. I've thought of that, but it might be too thick... Thanks though!
  17. $100.00!?! Man, I'm glad I bought my copy when it came out!
  18. Okay... So I'm asleep at the switch...
  19. Hmmm... Step away from the paints Marcos, you've been around them a little too long...
  20. Welcome! I have a feelin' you're gonna hear from the Big Kahuna himself... Gregg! He's a big R/C rock crawling fan, and I believe there was a rock crawler model in one of the MCM mags issues...
