  1. If you can, send her some snow...
  2. Please hurry up and call her... She's holding my cat for ransom!!! Thanks! I had fun making the rack out of sheet plastic and imagination! I doubt I'll make the door able to open and close... After I finish it, It would take some work to show it works... Well... My days off are up, so I'll have to do updates on the fly, but I will get some work done on this. Last night I just did some body putty work on it... About as exciting as watching... well, putty dry... I'm thinking of doing a little custom work on the headlights and taillights... Stay tuned...
  3. QUOTE(Modellpularn @ Dec 2 2009, 11:57 PM) Marshall, it's coming along nicely! See how much better it looks with that opening between the driver and the passengers. I'm a little concerned about that rescribed front doorline. You have all these swept back styling elements with the roof, then this new doorline that goes the other way. I can understand why you did it, but to me, it looks strange, wrong. It bothered me the instant I saw it, so please go back to the stock doorline. OK.....? I would, but the stock doorline goes in the wrong direction... Here's a pic of the stock doorline with the new doorline... In the closeup, the front of the car is to the left, and the old line curves towards the front. The reason it did that was because the front door and the rear door were right next to each other. Since I stretched the body, the doors were no longer against each other and it made the front door look really strange, and the length of the door looked too short. Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm gonna leave it like this.
  4. AWESOME!!! You did a heck of a job on that Charles! The whole build came out beautifully!
  5. Not a problem Sam! People have different tastes in cars, and that's cool with me. I'm glad you like the way it's turning out though... Thanks for the great compliments!
  6. Ice... Cool... I'm scratch building a fridge for the car... No bucket necessary! Thanks for the suggestion though!
  7. I got a "Lucky Find" bargain at a flea market tonight! A friend of mine is opening a booth at a new flea Market that won't open until tomorrow in Duquesne Mo. One of the booths had 2 truck models in it, and I asked if I could purchase them... I got both of these for $8 each... Both are still factory sealed.
  8. Hmmm... Lights? I could tell you, but then I'd have to whip you with a wet noodle!!! Thanks Lyn, this build wouldn't have been possible without your generosity!
  9. Thanks Jason! I'm glad I can help people with techniques to help them with their builds.
  10. Thanks Peter! I've got all night to work on it, so I'll have another update tomorrow. Thanks again!!!
  11. I got the windows cut out and started building the wet bar fir the interior... Here the liquor bottles painted up... And the scratch built wine rack... I cut out a window in the divider as Hans suggested. I'll add some clear sheet plastic later... And I got the side windows cut out on the body... Started making a refrigerator for food, beer, and cola... Hope you like!
  12. I got a phone call from the hostess at the party... She wants the lamp shade back... I got a lot done, including scratch building the bar. When it's done, the drinks are on me... Although as small as the bottles are, I don't think you'll get much... I'll post updates tomorrow, it's time for me to hit the hay...
  13. That's awesome Ed! you did an excellent job with it!
  14. This is so COOL!!! You're doing an awesome job on this Peter, and I'm glad that you decided to keep posting the progress! This is gonna be GREAT!!!
  15. You were? Oh I know... You were the guy with the lampshade on your head! No wonder I didn't recognize ya! I have Wednesday and Thursday off, so I'll post updates then.
  16. I may add an open window so that it'll have some more light coming into the passenger cabin... I still need to cut open the side windows on the stretch. Bonnie Tyler would've been on I would liked to have met. I thought she was the hottest woman I'd ever seen back in the 80's! Bummer about ZZ Top...
  17. I have to admit... I did the same thing with a girlfriend in a limo... I was thinking about a divider window, but if it is a private limo, it wouldn't need it. More than likely I will make it a private limo... Thanks for the story!
  18. I'm not tired of it! I'm seriously enjoying seeing the process! Please don't end it...
  19. I can't wait to see how it does! I am VERY intrigued with this build, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this works out!!! Bummer the side scallops didn't work out though, that would've definitely given this car a Corvette flavor. Keep up the awesome work!
  20. ShOrrY Billy, bUt iis havta oRdeR moyr lIqukor fer de bar... U misshed oNe HEcK of uh Thansgivaway party!!!
