  1. Do tell... Thanks Hans! It's a work in progress.
  2. WOW!!! I'm loving it! I've always wanted to scratchbuild a car myself. Yours looks totally wicked! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this one!
  3. Okay Billy... Ya got your wish! I cut and pieced the frame together today... More coming soon!
  4. Cool caskets! Where did you find them at? I have 2 of the original Jo-Han hearse caskets, and I've thought about getting someone to cast them for me.
  5. Tonight I added the center roof to the body... Hope ya like!
  6. Okay... I've sliced, diced, chopped, cropped, and generally cut up the interior for this build. Still have a lot more cutting and filling with sheet plastic to do on this, but it will be done... More soon!
  7. Awesome work! I remember the car at OCIR... One of my favs!
  8. Bow WOW!!! That looks great!!! Nice clean detailing on it. Welcome to the forum here!!!
  9. You want hints and tips from me? You're one of the premier builders on this forum. My builds are a small hobby compared to the work I've seen you do. I'm honored!!! I've seen pictures of the Beetle you're talking about, very cool! Thanks, I appreciate the compliment!!! I'm working on the interior now, and Billy wants me to hurry with the frame, 'cause he really wants to see it up on it's wheels! I think he's enjoying this more than I ever will... I'll have an up date soon!
  10. Looks great! I like that your showing us the buildup of this kit! Thanks!
  11. Of course, Harry would notice... Your Vette looks great Billy! I've forgotten to do a few small things on a model myself. I like the look! Coolness!
  12. I got some liquor bottles from Lee Rilea (aka Midnightprowler) for just such an occasion!
  13. Thanks Billy! Solid top, with side windows in the center, and removable T-tops over the driver and passengers seats...
  14. Thanks Dave! Those are really cool! I love seeing old pictures of vehicles!
  15. WOW!!! That is cool!!! Now if I could learn to do that, I'd be thrilled!
  16. Sorry Ed... I don't think it's gonna live... Looks great! Very weather worn. This should look (beaten?) great when you're done with it!
  17. Thanks Billy! Glad you like it! Here's what I did today to it... I didn't care for the way the passenger compartment looked, it looked to tiny. so I cut the roof bar in front of the passenger compartment off and moved it forward... Then I added a strip of plastic from the roof to connect it. More to come soon!
  18. I have to agree with Steve guy's... There are so many hobby shops going down the tubes lately, I don't see anything wrong with Scott advertising here, except maybe in the correct thread. He's just trying to stay afloat in this world, and give us what we want... MODELS!!!
  19. I was thinking maybe towing a tank if one ever gets stuck... Thanks Billy!
  20. Thanks Billy! I'll have to get the frame cut and pieced together first, and then add the suspension before I can show the wheels added. Soon though... Thanks Derrick! I just wish I was as detail minded as you are...
  21. Yeah... I thought about doing some dry transfer lettering on it... Not sure what to put on there though. Thanks Harry. I'll have to look and see if I can find some for it, 'cause that sounds like the perfect solution! Thanks Dave! And thanks for the compliment!
  22. Looks great Lyle! Now the kids can sleep in a little longer, 'cause with that bus, they'll NEVER be late!
  23. Very nice! What did you use for the wood? Looking forward to more!
