Kurt I do consider myself blessed that these guys would do a build like they did for me. Each one even signed the instruction sheet with date and what they did on the build.

Here is the latest of my bench. Finished this up late Fri night so I could take it to the shows this weekend. Its an AMT kit that is curbside. Alex Evans painted the body for me and did a great job. It is sprayed with nail polish. Chassis is detailed with Tamiya paint and weathering powders. Wheels are from Revell 64 Chevy PU. Kit includes photoetched emblems too. I liked this kit so much I bought 2 more this weekend. Hope you enjoy. Thanks Alex for helping me out on this one.

As most of you might know I run The Mad Modeller forum. 4 guys from TMM took part in building this as a gift for me. After over 8,000 miles of traveling it was given to me on Sat at the show. Was entered under The Mad Modeller name and took 2nd Place. Here are the pics I took tonight. Here are details for a contest on a couple other forums. Come over and join in on the fun. The Racecar Contest is a go!!!!!!! Here are the rules and info. Build a 1/24-1/25 scale racecar of any deceased or retired driver. Open to all forms of racing - NASCAR, Dirt Track, Indy, F1, Rally, IMSA, Off-Road, NHRA, IHRA or any local driver from your hometown. You must provide a picture of the 1:1 car you plan to build. Must be a new build. No projects that you have started. Contest is open to all Scale Racing Lobby(SRL) and The Mad Modeller(TMM)members. Anything goes for this build. Any aftermarket parts, decals or scratchbuilding allowed. Contest starts August 1, 2007 and ends January 1, 2008. At the end all finished builds will be posted and voting will begin. Total votes from SRL and TMM will determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Prizes will be announced at a later date.
