  1. I didn't think to stir it... LOL Oops. I just shook it up.
  2. It's like a forum game. You guess who's going to make the next post (post after your post on this thread). So my guess now is Kris Morgan.
  3. So, I've recently gotten a lot of model kits, and I'm going to be ordering the paint for them here in the next week or so from Hobbylinc. I like to use Tamiya paints, but I have taken a large liking to Model Master's line, when I used their Arctic Blue Metallic on my Camaro. It came out great. I have used "parma" paint line, but it's really thin for my liking. Anyways, I'd like to stay as close to "stock" colors as I can, but with variation on the colors as well. Anyways, I'm not sure as to what colors to paint them, so I thought I'd ask for y'all's opinion. Model List/Paint color Eckler Corvette - Yellow (Black interior) '53 Corvette - White (Red interior) '95 Corvette - **Polo Green (Tan interior) '68 Firebird 400 - Red (Black interior) Hummer H2 - Gunmetal Gray (Black/Gray interior) '65 Galaxie 500 XL - Sky Blue (Tan interior) '57 Corvette - Red (Black interior) '57 Corvette - Black (Red interior) '96 Corvette Grand Sport - Blue (Red/Black interior) '96 Corvette Grand Sport - Blue (Red/Black interior) ** - I cannot find this exact paint color. If you happen to know a color that matches it closely, please let me know. What do you all think about these colors? I've changed my mind on them a million and one times. LOL Also along the lines of paint... Brass from Model Masters. I'm having a hard time painting it on and getting coverage on any base color. White, Gray, or Black. It'll bleed through really bad still after a good 5 coats of it. just looks like a sparkly base coat.
  4. I haven't seen it on here in the OT section, so I figured I'd start it up on my own. It's a "game" of sort. I did it on a few other forums. Anyways, what you do is "Guess" who's going to post next. Example. Post #1 - "I guess "Bart Simpson"" Post #2 - "Nope. I'm "Homer Simpson", but I'm guessing that "Marge Simpson" is next" Post #3 - "Yep. You guessed it. But I guess "Lisa Simpson" is next" Post #4 - ...I'm not going to keep doing this. LOL I'll go first, with Harry P. being next? (I hope I'm right, or this would be a bad start for this game. LOL)
  5. Mizozuman2 is a collection of things for me. Miz = Mizzou = Mizzou Tigers (I was born in Ft. Wood. Moved to Ks. in the early years) Oz = Wizard of Oz = KANSAS u = a letter = random letter to make the name easier to pronounce. man = I'm a male. 2 = I'll leave it to everyone to guess it. (Please don't try to find out. It doesn't mean anything. Just a random digit, kind of like the "u".)
  6. I don't have a super big work area, but it's all I need. this is the spare room that we have. So it's got a lot of stuff in it we don't have room for anywhere else (Weight bench, Drumset, and my Racing sim. setup). the closet next to the desk is where I'm going to put a spray booth at. It's going to be a cheap spray booth. Just a "toy box" sized tote, and some computer fans going out the side of it, with an air filter. The black drawers hold my paints, glues, polishes, etc. and my Decals, tape, and Sandpaper in plastic bags to keep them in good shape. I use Tissue paper over a piece of cardboard to keep the desks actual surface as clean as possible, but the rest of the desk isn't much of a worry to me. we picked up the desk from a garage sale for $10. (The car on the desk is a sneak peak at what I'm working on right now. )
  7. Oh wow! That's cool! I figured the cage was hand made, but I didn't know the rest of it was 3d printed.
  8. Though I do play video games, I'm not glued to a TV screen 24/7. And my phone is just a flip phone. Haha I do agree though, it seems as though my "generation" is becoming more reliant on electronics as a form of happiness, rather than more hands on things. Such as model building! There's more of an "accomplished" feeling in finishing a model kit, than completing a game. But that's just me.
  9. I've never built a large scale model car, but seeing all these pictures of yours really gives me an urge to! Great looking kit. Keep the updates coming!
  10. I don't see a lot of younger people around Building models online. I know they're around, as I'm friends with a few in real life. But not many online. Maybe I can get them to join the Forum, so you can see their work as well. Thanks for the comment.
  11. Unless I have a group of friends and a few coupons, nope. Hobbylinc is much better. Great prices IMO.
  12. Hello everyone, As the title says, I'm new here. I'm not new to model building though! I've been model building for close to 2 years now. I started when I was 15, and I'm now 17. I'm mostly a "Box Stock" builder, though I have been working on one kit that I'm going to make the trunk for. Some of my work so far is... Dodge Ram VTS, Dodge Charger R/T, Corvette ZR-1, Corvette Stingray, Malibu SS, Baldwin Motion Camaro 427, and a Camaro RS. (I'll upload some pictures at a later time of these kits) As of right now, I have 13 unbuilt model kits. So Hopefully you all can see some of the kits I build in the future!
