It is a 71-73ish Holden Monaro HQ GTS 350. http://www.thepartsbox.com/store/index.php?page=browse&action=list&group=15&cat=52 Holden i.e. GM of Australia and it is right hand drive, It is the type of car the night rider had stolen and then chased down by Max Rockatansky in the opening sceen of Mad Max. It is prolly closer to a Nova/Chevy II in wheelbase than a GM A body. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj3ncWJS6d4

Yes it is Vermont. I apologize for the shakey camera work, that is why I posted three images, recovering from two surgeries and two months being bed ridden.

TĂșlio Lazzaroni, Just last week I watched your video of your example of testors '48 ford. You did an excellent job. If and when you get this revell one I hope to see that on your channel as well. Salud and Nastrovia.

I am glad you were able to get one and build it into a FINE looking ford. Great job.

'46, '47, and '48 fords were driven at least the first year(s) of NASCAR sanctioning. Here is a link to an article about the first race https://sites.google.com/site/memoryyear/denton-nc-stuff/nascar-1949-archie-smith

I haven't built mine as of yet, but I had a while back removed the molded in hood, and cleaned up a little of the flash on front grill/bumper, still some flash on rear bumper and dash. I test fitted a chassis from the most recent lindberg '66 chevelle, fits very good, a little snug, would need just the tiniest amount of adjusting. The front of the underside of the hood would need some attention if displayed open and not pictured are the two hood scoops that are seperate small resin castings, Hope this helps. -
Re-read the article, Chopped another top and got a better one, still have to get another convertible. But untill another arrives going to practice removing molding etc.. Also learned to lay down masking tape before agressive and continous sanding,Love this hobby live-n-learn.

I am going to have to get another '48 convertible. Learning to remove molds and trim and a little carelessness sanding left too many scratches on the body around the doors.

Thanks Davewilly, took inspiration from Tim Boyd.....http://public.fotki.com/funman1712/first-look-at-all-n/new-first-look-reve/new-first-look-reve/dsc-0087-jpg.html I won't be able to work on it as I would like off my feet for two more months with a busted leg, but am trying to take advantage of down time, pun intended, to get a start on it.

That is so cool and good of a scale model, I want a 1:1 exactly as you modeled it, very very good job.
