  1. Starting to get some color on the body
  2. Here is the wood bed. (The outerwear of the bed looks rough because I'm still sanding and in between coats.)
  3. Some progress with the engine and chassis. Nothing extravagant but just trying to keep it clean looking.
  4. This is my first truck build in probably 15 years. Just got back into the hobby about a year ago and decided it was time to build a truck. My wife picked this one out as well as the body color.
  5. Looks amazing!
  6. Looks great! Getting ready to build this one myself. Hope mine turns out this nice! Anything pointers with this kit?

Killer build Dave!! Love the paint scheme. Love it!!
  8. I have to agree with you but with the way the chassis was molded I couldn't figure out how to get the stance any lower. (that will come with more experience on my behalf). I should have taken pics of the way the chassis was made to get some more input but honestly I was excited to have something completed! lol
  9. Its funny that you mention the brakes. This kit was (from what I could tell) dated in the late 80s early 90s. It did not include any kind of brakes. It had two metal rods that slid through the molded rear end and through the molded front end. The entire front and rear end were molded as one piece on the frame. It didn't include any brake system components at all. I was wondering that myself when I opened the kit but I did what I could with what I was given lol. Thats also why I didn't put any pics of the chasis of this build because it was kinda cheesy in my opinion. But all in all it was a good build for me to get back into the swing of things.
  10. This was a build I put together for my Dad. He restored a 66 stang about 10 years ago and I was inspired to recreate his build. Thanks for checking it out and all comments and tips are welcome! This is my Dads stang and here is what I came up with

  23. No worries Matt thanks for looking! I'm going to order the 19s from pegasus and see how they look. I'm affraid that they might be on the big side but if they are I'll just save them for a future build. Thanks for the pics Arno it helps to see the sizes in comparison.
