Trailer Park Kustomz
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to hotrodblder's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Thanks fellas. I haven't been online much lately due to work hours. Any spare time not working has been at the bench repairing masters and remaking mold's. -

I think rmr resins (Ron Andrews) makes a c60 cab. I may be wrong but I know someone still makes one. -

Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to BTK's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Yes, I need to replace that pic. I had some issues I corrected with my mold. However I've been so busy with my job that I haven't had time to change it. Appreciate your support though Casey. -
Help Scratchbuilding a Diesel Engine
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to zzori's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
This is the 12v 5.9 cummins I scratched as my master for casting. Block is correct size and shape but I decided to concentrate detail work on the 48re trans and the rest of the parts. It was my first shot at sctpratching up an engine. I built it with the mindset of being able to cut the block, hard, and valve covers down for 4bt applications. This is the link to a marine diesel website where I found a lot of the dimensions I needed to build mine up with. http://www.sbmar.com/ -
Help Finding Engine
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to raildogg's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Are you looking for a rig or pickup Diesel engine? I cast a 5.9 cummins 6bt that can be cut down into a 4bt version. -

Pretty much done with resin.

I hate telling my resin customers when I have issues. However, I have found that communicating with them is key. I typically throw some type of extras in with most orders, but especially when I ship an order later than planned. Personally I feel it's the right thing to do. As for the long lead times, I think the longest lead time I've had on any items was 3 weeks, but the 2 bulilders that ordered were regulars and they insisted on prepaying to be the first to get an item I was still finishing up. Even though they knew they had to wait, I still threw in extras as usual and kept them informed as to the status. Again, communication goes a long way especially when people are spending their hard earned dollar on specialty parts in this hobby (obsession for me) that we all love. -
Duramax Motor
Trailer Trash Kustomz replied to rtcroghan's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
That should be ready to order in about 3 weeks buddy. As far as ordering, I have a Facebook community page under this same name that I'm working through currently. I will have a site up and running through big cartel.com in a few weeks. The website is active but I have only loaded a few items on it to get the hang of everything. I will start loading more items and payment options onto that site next weekend when I get back home from out of town work. -
Finally got a painted and assembled copy of my resin Chevy Duramax Diesel engine completed. The block and bell housing are from a kit for the basis and the valve covers were 3D drawn/printed, but all the rest is scratch built. There will be 2 different styles of valve covers included to choose which generation of the engine you want to represent. I am still waiting on a friend (that was test building it) to finish the instruction diagrams. He says the instructions should be finished within a few weeks. I have also included a pic of it being test fit into a 99 Chevy chassis with my Chevy crewcab also.
