Sorry it's been so long and I couldn't get a single picture of the motor alone. Anyway, here is where I am in this build. Here is the bottom of the chassis with the exhaust and my first attempt at rust.(Let me know if you want to know how I did it) The engine And the seats ( just primer and the stripes are decals) Also have the interior and rear axle done With this model I am going to keep the whole interior simple. Anyway, thanks for hanging with me. -Newbs99

Hey Guys, Sorry it has been so long. Just applied my first decals. Never done it before. I know that sounds shocking, but I've just always worked my way around them. It feels as if I have opened a new page to modeling. Thanks, and expect more too come soon. The camera didn't focus too well, but they are there.

I'm gonna leave the manifold black for color assortment, and I'm not gonna clear the body because I want the white to be flat, instead of glossy and the blue testers is shiny enough for me. I keep updated. Thanks, Newbs99

Hey guys, as you can see I moved my build from the kit reviews to here. Thanks for looking! All right, so here's my '62 impala build. I'm still touching up the paint, but I like we're it's going. Here's a pic of the body and the motor so far. Wait till you see the headers. The area where the cylinder heads would be is orange, not red. Thanks , Newbs99

I just moved my build to a new folder. Thanks, Newbs99

They do have different looks Geno, one being boxier and the other being more sleek as you said. Please Check out my 62 impala build by looking at my profile. Thanks, Newbs99

Thanks for the help, Craig. Newbs99 -
Hey Guys, The car is drying now and should be up for pictures soon, meaning maybe tomorrow because those pesky wheels just won't sit right.

So, this is probably going to be my next build. I'm planning on painting it a white and blue. Here is the best part: I can't wait to get started! Y'all should see it soon in the Work In Progress Part of the Forum

There could be a large debate over that Geno, and I usually favored the 55 - 57 Chevys until I began this model. Now I have mixed feelings. It also seems that this is a very popular model on the MCM forum. Thanks, Newbs99

Hey Everyone, Sorry I arrived to the party kind of late. I've spent hours searching every topic of MCM over the past couple years and am not new to modeling. But, that being said, I've never posted any of my works online. I've always loved modeling and have a somewhat stockpile of models to build, so expect more. I can't wait until i can consider myself as part of MCM. Thanks for the welcome Dragfreak, Geno, and Freakshow12 and I'll update my works a soon as I can find the time. Thanks, Newbs99

I'm not sticking with the original bumpers. I'm gonna go with the custom front and rear bumpers that give it a sleek look. I thank that that Krylon paint that I used did a pretty good job. Yours looks great. Also, back to the bumpers, I can never find the original bumpers to fit the model body correctly. Looks Good, Geno

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Dragfreak, Also just saw your Cuda and it has a great stance. I just got one and it'll probably come next.

So, this is my first post to MCM and I'm new here. I wanted to start off with my current model project, a 57 Ford Fairlane. It's nearly finished, but I just can't get the wheels to sit right. They look good, but the rear wheels won't roll. Here is my decent engine: And here is the interior: I'll post more when it is complete. What do you think?
