ent to hobby lobby last night with the wife. After sitting in traffic for a hour and a half we got there and the model car selection was pathetic. I did pick up some paint and new blades. We then stopped at Wal-Mart to get driveway salt. Apparently Wal-Mart isn't selling there salt at the stores anymore. Its all being sold to the road commission.

stopped by my lhs to get some bmf. Ended up buying 4 kits. Walked out only spending $40.00.

Browsing craigslist and came across 2 airbrushes and a compressor for $50. Turns out the guy was 5 minutes from my house. Badger compressor, aztek action and paasche single action 3 air lines some tips and a few bottles. Everything works great. Not bad for $50

They are in auburn hills michigan. I believe the owner of the company lives in italy. From what I have been told he inherited millons of dollars. He is an amateur race car driver over there.

My dad actully works at the company that's building this. This car is actully the third design. The first two were shot down by ford because they looked to much like the mustang. Ford let them build this but would not let them use the coyote motor that is why they went with the ls. They are currently building three for the detroit autoshow. I have seen this car in person many many times and it is a beautiful machine.

That's badass.. I have it torn apart now. I'm wanting to try it another way. I have the headlights drilled out. So I'm going to try to mount the intake for the turbo there. I will start messing around with it next weekend. Ill post pics

Just did this the other day. I ordered a supercharged ls9 from vcg and 2 turbos. I read an article that said you could clean them with alcohol before painting. When I took them out of the alcohol they were way to soft. $30 dolaars down the drain and leason learned.

Just tried my hand at a turbo manifold. I wanting to put a twin turbo ls motor In my prostreet malibu kit. Please take a look and tell me what you think. I'm hoping I can duplicate it on the other side. For some reason it won't upload my other pictures

Ok well with that being said how do we know that the hat on the camaro isn't just a dumby hat for the intake for the turbos? Maybe its blocked off from thr rest of the super charger. Not saying that its the greatest idea but could be a possibility.

I watched the video and it looks like there going into the blower housing. After the interview the guy does a walk around of the car

i understand if the turbos are after the blower, but they are before the blower. So the turbos are sending compressed air into the blower. Which is compressing it along with fresh air. I'm not saying its going to make a million pounds of boost. But it will make more togeather than either setup alone. There's a guy around here with a compound turbo eclipse. He is running a 16g turbo feeding a hx40. Last I heard he was running 65 pounds of boost. Now there is no way either turbo can push that much boost seperatly. But togeather they can

Ok I understand how a turbo works and an intercooler. On my turbo cars I have never ran a hose from the intercooler to the throttle body. I have always used 3" exhaust pipe with a bead wlded all the around about 1/2 from the end and silicone couplers with t clamps.

I just watched the video again. Looks like he has the turbo going In before the supercharger.

How would it not work? If the blower is compressing air and pushing it In the motor and the turbos are forcing even more air in after the blower I would think it would make crazy horsepower. More air more fuel more horsepower

I have built 4 turbo cwrs and worked on many others. I have never ran hose straight from the turbo to the plenum. Maybe I misunderstood you. Another problem is you said some old hose. Well of course an old dried up hose isn't going to hold up under boost.

When the butterflies open the airflow to the turbos would increase. I don't think that his setup is the best way to go, but he refers to his car as a trailer queen. SO I'm sure he doesnt mind restricting airflow to the turbos as long as it looks "good"

I was just looking at the camaro again and the intake on the turbos is plumb to the injector hat. So there shouldn't be a pressure drop

I was thinking the same thing about the camaro. I would assume that when the butterflies open that he would loose boost. I found a video of the car on youtube and it seems to run really well.
