  1. Agreed! I'm wishing I'd never seen it!?
  2. That wouldn't have occurred to me but you're right - however I can guess who is likely to have copied - sorry, 'was influenced by' who!
  3. I just knew what it was. Only had to check the dates.?
  4. Very easy. Thanks Michael!
  5. Thanks Les and Ken!?
  6. Well I never knew about this Honda Disco! What are the identifying features that distinguish it from the original LR badged one?
  7. What a shame it never got into production, it's such a refreshing step away from all the Gilberns that were produced. Thanks for increasing my knowledge.
  8. It's a beautiful looking machine though!
  9. It's not what I first thought it might be but is very close, there must be some connection but I guess I'll have to wait for the answer!
  10. Makes sense, Bill. Those were the days!
  11. I only got one but this was a great quiz! Never imagined Oldsmobile would come up with such an awkward taillight design!
  12. Looks good, Russell. I presume it's got a Hemi! PM sent, thanks Michael.?
  13. The makers planned a Mark 2 version with more power and 100 mph top speed. Thankfully, they never built it!?
  14. I bet the driver doesn't have a girlfriend - and probably not many friends either!? PM sent
  15. I enjoyed this quiz and was on the right lines but ran out of time...
  16. Interesting! PM sent.
  17. Excellent! If this is a 'fun' build, what are your 'serious' builds like? ?
  18. Hi Michelle I guess we're all different. I can overlook the cheesiness and see it as a 1960s idea of the future - and I love the idea that there are crew members out of shot opening and closing the 'automatic' doors. It's the ideas and stories that I like - also I grew up watching the originals first time around so to me the newer series is just not the same! Each to his or her own?
  19. Nice! The first is still the best, with James T Kirk in command! They show the originals every weekday here in the UK.
  20. I too thought it was a Pininfarina design but then got the idea it was a Michelotti styled car. Either way I never got close to what or when. Interesting!
  21. Thanks Michael - but I had worked that bit out! It looks familiar but I haven't got it yet.? Cheers, -Don.
  22. Yes = there's a good reason for this, relating to a famous tea party they had in Boston...?
  23. Great modelling. I was watching a documentary recently about the supersonic airliner 'race' - with the Russian 'Concordski', Concord(e) and the SST and learned the SST swing wing design was canned due to the excessive weight of the wing mechanism. Shame.
  24. Aaargh! This one was familiar to me but I just couldn't quite place it. Thanks for the fun I had trying. Cheers, -Don.
  25. Interesting that this one has the rare additional seat option attached to the rear bumper.
