  1. Jacksonville, FL. Thanks guys for all the compliments
  2. Thanks for the compliment and suggestion. these tires were originally just a normal set of "stock car" " Nascar" tires that had the Goodyear lettering on the sides. So I decided to take the letters off. As far as the sidewalls and armorall. You think the side walls would look better shiney? I can do that ..
  3. 05-09 is the same body stye. 2010 was a new body style but still considered a S197 chassis car. The 2011 and newer however no longer had the 300 HP 4.6 3V V8. The 2011 GT's have a 5.0L 420HP motor. The way to tell the difference between the 300HP 2010 GT and the 420HP 2011 GT is the side badge. The 2010 has a "GT" Badge while the 2011 and newer GT's have a "5.0" badge..
  4. Hey guys, I am new here and I just recently got back into model building. After looking endlessly for a nice set of drag radials I decided to make my own. I made a whole set and with the process I use they all turned out very consistently.. Was just trying to see if anyone else is interested in these types of tires as they are easy for me to make. To answer questions, No, I am not cutting them with any type of blade. Here are some pics of a 70 mustang I built. first pic is with the stock tire and the second pic is with a set of redials I custom made.. Let me know what you guys think.. BTW sorry for the dusty model, I just made these tires since I started modeling again and pulled out an old model to see how they look. LOL all the excitement I forgot to clean the thing..
