  7. I'm sorry to jump to conclusions, I didn't know it was just Mocked up.. What is the issue with the fitment you are having?
  8. Looks good, Havent seen one that color before. Is it metallic ?
  9. We would have to see pics to verify LOL
  10. Yeah, the DSG would be the bottom color if I go two tone.. should look good.. They are these tires http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=81304
  11. Great Post ! car moves out pretty good
  12. Looks good! The kit (at least the one I have) Has two different intake manifolds for the motor. The one you see here and the one that is used on Tyrone's 90 LX build. However even though they made two different distributors they didn't change the distributor location it seems..
  13. I see 8 Superchargers, where are the other 4? I can't find them...
  14. I really like the build so far. The interior colors are impressive to say the least...
  15. First I want to say that your paint Looks great and your interior is super nice !. The only thing that stands out to me and this is just my OCD is that it looks like the rear fender is touching the rear tires.. If it is not then I retract my statement and you have yourself a really great build
  16. Yeah, no doubt.. Can you imagine trying to keep it cool? LOL
  17. 9000lbs just for the engine. then it will be much heavier just for a chassis that can support it.. How much power is it making? Because there are single engines with ONE super charger making around 8,000 HP.. Now for your question, when is it too much.. To me I'm not sure it is "too much" as much as it is just plain inefficiency. Let me explain as I am talking engine output per dollar. 987BHP Bugatti Veyron W16 engine and 4 turbo chargers (Not sure what the engine costs, but the Transmission is $120,000.00 to replace) . 4.8 L LS motor out of a chevy Silverado will make just as much power with about $6,000.00 invested.. Stock bottom end on these motors was proven to hold up till 1200HP and then only the rod bolts failed. Friend of mine has a stock bottom end 4.8 running 8.8sec 1/4 passes. Got the engine out of a junk yard for ~$300.00. Stock bottom end with LS6 Cam, LS9 head gaskets, Texas speed heads, FAST Intake and Precision turbo and made 700RWHP on pump gas with 200r4 Transmission and a loose converter. Drove it 6 hours to the track, ran 8.8 pass and then drove it home all while getting 26MPG. Oh BTW Bugatti Veyron gets 8MPG.... So I tend to look at things HP/dollar wise. Right now, not much beats the 4.8 and 5.3 LS motors... as they are plentiful and extremely cheap to build and they have 6 bolt mains and a great rod angle. They can take anything you throw at them.. So yes, IMHO Too Much when I look at it from a HP/Dollar perspective.. Edit: In before the reliability police question my buddies 4.8. He runs the car HARD every week end the track is open. Does points series with the car and has A LOT of passes on the motor with out any issues..
  18. LMAO!! I was thinking about you addressing this in a video earlier today. I must be psychic... Edit: Just watched the vid. Good stuff !
  19. Just a tip for the caddy headers.. some pieces of .062 round rod (maybe .040 if you want a little smaller runners) and some of these..
  20. Welcome to the site! Send me the links and I'll try to post them best I can. Sure you probably don't want to hear this but I use Photo bucket and it is super simple. After you upload the picture to the photobucket site. there will be 4 links on the right side of the photo. one is the IMG link also known as the image link. All you have to do is left click on that link with your mouse and it automatically copies. Then come to this site and right click and paste and your pic is there www.photobucket.com register to the site using your E-mail. Then you'll need to go to your E-mail to verify. Go back to the photobucket site, sign in and click where it says upload pictures/video. Select the photo file by double clicking it and it will automatically start the upload. once the upload is done, look to the left for your IMG Link and left click it and then come here and post it by right clicking and paste into the letter box just like your typing. If it asks to allow say yes..
  21. Sure ! Love these cars and any pics would be great ! !
  22. That last pic was exactly what I had in mind but with a deeper red.. Red Fire Metallic Dark Shadow Grey
  23. As I write this the chrome plated parts for this build as well as the body for this car are being stripped in CSC (Castrol Super Clean). Should have pics of the stripped parts tomorrow.. Also haven't decided on a set of rims yet for this build.. I'll have to look around and see what I have..
