  3. I look on google for weeks and nothing. You guys are awsome Thanks comp
  4. Omg thanks comp! But as for the mags I just assumed it would be chain rather than belt (for timing reasons). Never had allot of deep exposure to the sport as a kid more or less watch and look. Ive build plenty of sbc's but never had a chance to build for performance. So if im wrong or off in anyway please tell me the parts are not cheap and I want to get it right. SO many builds here are phenomenal! Yall are the real inspirations
  5. Allot of trivial mock up and reaserch now. Ive got microscale wheels, mas machined blower kit, protec fittings and line and a truckload of styrene as I have none and my so called lhs barely carries kits glue and paint. Still trying to figure out how to run a electric water pump with radiator and an altinator
  6. I figured id have to cut it down
  7. The big one looks best to me! Tyrone its because of you im now starting my own scratch builds. Incredible work!
  8. Love the build! We are all on different skill levels im just starting to plumb and use fittings and I just hope they turn out half as good as yours
  9. Well just about to get started I have a bunch of parts ordered and more to add. But its a start is this blower set up believable? Or just impractical? Now of course its a mock up. But if I can save myself some money somewhere that would be awsome. Ive got a great handful of topfuel engines and parts. But they are all the same except the bagged blowers on the newer floppers
  10. Lutz 57 is twin turbo but my rendition for mine will have a blower set up. Ill look into the double pump setup
  11. Ok for my lutz inspired 57 I want to use a blown pro mod style engine. But how do I set one up with a radiator and alternator? I could run the belts like normal and use a electric water pump but then how do I run the fuel pump? I think I can run the magnito off a chain drive like most modern engines and stick it through the belt set up. Id like to just at a blower and components usung the prostock kit engine as the base. Please help if my ideas are wrong please tell me and if you have any references that would be incredible.
  12. Deff watching this build throwing a blower on this block has me intrigued. Migh help me save some money on rg motors

  19. No nitrous this time still waiting for supplys and then im goimg to do tutorial videos for stock, nitrous, blown and turbo set ups, sorry it maybe a month or 2 as money is a little tight and aftermarket engines and supplies are not inexpensive
  20. Ok that dont look as awkward as I thought . Thank you
  21. Your pics are great im just worried about the look of it when im done I dont know if I should but the extra space ahead or behind the driver. I wont be attending any showes but I dont want it to look like a man would have to be 8 feet tall to drive it eather lol
  22. Since I was a kid watching 1986 " catch me if you can" I fell in love with the 57 chevy. But growing up I grew very fond of drag racing. I always wanted to build a 200 mph street legal tri five and jeff lutz of lutz racing has done it ive picked up a couple revell kits and started to mock up a couple of the pro stock chassis from revell and the tubs and floor pan fit perfect except the wheelbase. They seem to me about 3/4 if an inshort in the floor wich is like 18-19 inches in 1:1 scale and to mee that seems like allot. So im wondering. Are the sportsman chassis the same width? And more importantly are they longer wheel base? Im still pretty new at scratch building but plan on making most of the cage and front end myself but floor and tubs would be ideal to start from Any help would be great and as soon as I have a proper moch up and materials ill document my progress here Thanks
  23. Lookd like youve got a frankinstien engine there bro
  24. At almost a buck a piece aftermarket fittings are amazing but really expencive when you want to build a full race set up and need quite a few. What have you guys found that look realistic enouph and please show pictures of your examples if you can
