  1. WOW! I put this thread up cause I know, or I thought, there were a lot of rat rod people on here! I don't think more than 2 people have said a nice thing about it yet....LOL...Oh well, I don't like them either... just thought it was funny...Joe
  2. In 1988, saw them 3 times in 6 months. Two of the times were one night after the other. Awesome show! It lightly rained the second time, even that added to the show and made it really cool!...Joe
  3. Made up drama? For sure! Just like everything else on TV...Joe
  4. Did anyone see this on the Discovery channel? I'm not a fan of rat rods, but this was fun to watch. I can't seem to post a link on here, so just do a search for rebel road...Joe

  7. I have the '65 Galaxie kit #6467. It has the hood scoop, the slicks, and other drag related parts as options. It lists it as custom parts. I did notice the front spindles have 3 holes for ride height. The middle for stock, and the upper hole listed as custom(lower ride)and although there is a lower hole, (shown but not mentioned) it could be used as lifting the front as in a gasser. So I would say it has all the parts of the JG Gasser!...Joe
  8. Agreed with Harry! I was never a fan of those cars!...Joe

  12. Dave, thanks for the link. Those welds just pop at you! They actually look 3D. Do they have a texture?...Joe
  13. WOW Dave!! Those are awesome! OK, another question...I see no one asked how you made the beads. Everyone else must know but me...lol. How was that done?...Joe
  14. Thanks Dave for the info. Those stainless headers may have been a pain, but they sure are beautiful!!...Joe
  15. Age is just a number society has put on you...Joe
  16. Dave, beautiful work! On the headers, is that 1/4" O.D.? And did you bend them to get the curve, or did they come pre bent? thanks... Joe
  17. I was told once..." If you don't like the way something is done, put in for that job and change it! If not, Shut up!!"...Joe
