  13. The only kits I have ever despised were the Airfix models! I have had several from planes to cars. And none of them ever fit together with out hugh gaps and thin plastic...Joe

  20. So at your funeral your friends talking of your passion for model building say "He had styrene in his blood" May not be to far from the truth!...Joe
  21. Great! If my wife gets wind of this, it will be her excuse to get rid of everything model related. Then I guess it's back to the bars and fast women!...Joe
  22. If there was a possibility of it being seen, yes I would fix it! Of course I would know it was there and it would bug me....Joe
  23. I disagree. The reason I "don't" build box stock is no matter what the subject is, it's boring to me. Don't get me wrong, you box stock builds are beautiful! Just "I" can't do that. All or most models are based on a real subject. ok well I want to build something that doesn't exist! I don't care how well or how bad a model is produced, I want to change it. Quality of the model doesn't matter cause I'm gonna bash it anyway.. Of course the better the quality, the easier it is to bash. I've bought models that have cost over $100,(though that doesn't happen often cause I can't afford it) and cut them up with no second thought......I think its a function(or malfunction) of the builders brain.....lol...Joe
  24. Me too! I tried to build box stock this year. It drove me nut.....finely go it done, but it nearly killed me following those directions. Never ever again.....Joe see link below
  25. Thanks.....Joe
