That is so cool. Did you scratch build the nose and tail wing? I saw somewhere on here there was a guy making them, was that you? Another of my favourite petty cars. -

I have a Don garlits, wynns jammer that has a clear body. The frame and motor are moulded in grey. The kit also has lots of chrome. -

AS lee said, use primer and your good to go. Thats all i use and have two rubber maids full of cans of all sorts of colours. I have tried grey, red and black primer under different colours to see what shades i can get. All you can do is experiment to see what you like. good luck Ewan -

Nice save ,it looks better than it did back when it was built. -
That looks amazing I agree I WOUNDNT change anything. Nice weathering or maybe its dust, mmmm not sure. That must be resin, never seen that body as a kit. I do see these in the summer as a lot of farmers in our area use them for corn and grain harvesting. I can't believe some of the trucks these farmers have. later Ewan

Tyrone Malone tires.
every second counts replied to Force's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I am looking into casting the tyrone tires out of resin as i can't find a source for soft urethane rubber. Would there be an interest in resin ones instead of rubber? Myself i need some as the truck I bought didn't come with any tires. the seller didn't mention it was a partial kit. cheers Ewan- 11 replies

The black and red is killer, it looks like the rear fenders are a different colour?? Truck and trailer look awesome together. -
I wish i could get a pic, every time i see one its next to me on the hwy. Yesterday i saw 3 alone in one day, all the older mack cabs and 3 different companies. I did notice that they all have the water tank and gauge were yours is, never really noticed that before know that i am looking for them. Ewan

I agree with purepmd GREAT paint and colour combination. I might just borrow that combination if you don't mind, i just got a ryder trailer with natural weathering as it was i someones crawl space for about 20 years. I don't think mine would be a detailed. Ewan -
