I agree with the guys. I say the second pic looks the best. Just seems to fit the look of the car.

Thanks guys! I gotta order me some Bare Metal Foil and see if I can make it look a little better. -
Since I've just recently gotten back into building, my girlfriend has really gotten into as well. She is currently working on a '57 Nomad. Here is my first try at doing an original style two tone. Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks Gene! This is the Revell Street Rod kit and the chrome is just straight out of the box.

Thanks Tony! Polk High Panthers FTW!! Lol

Nothing too extreme yet. I'd really like to build some pro street style pickups, so just cutting up the rear frame for stuff like that. And eventually get into some body modifications on some things. I also have a 359 Peterbilt that I want to lower and stretch quite a bit.

Hey guys, since being out of the hobby for so long, I thought I'd try another quick build before diving off into something where I'll be doing a whole bunch of cutting or customizing. I thought I might try a little detail work on this build. I tried my first ever attempt at plug wires, not the best work I know, I think some are a little longer than they should be and the boots are a tad too long but it'll work for now. Also, I got some color on the body last night, I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out so far. Any input welcome, tips and criticism as well. Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks again everybody. Looks like I'll be ordering some foil and giving it a shot, lol. I'll probably try it on a spare piece or two just try see how it works. I'll post updates if it turns out decent.

Just the small can of spray paint by Testors, I believe was the brand. Not sure of the exact name of the color off hand, but I can find out if you need it.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I really appreciate it. Yeah, the master cylinder bugs me every time I look at it. I'm thinking about trying to get it back off and fixing it. I've never attempted to use Bare Metal Foil. How much of a pain is it to use? I definitely want to get into more of the engine detailing and such. I don't know that I'll ever be able to reach the skill level of some of the builds on here. But I still think I can do better.
