Anyone ever thread a 1mm brass rod? I'd like to thread some brass rod for U bolts. Would need to tap some brass hex as well, unless I can find nuts to fit the threaded rod. Don't know what size die to look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I keep mine in the packages too! I picked up a flat cigar box for 5 bucks at my smoke shop and it's big enough to lay 'em in flat even in the packaging. Most cigar shops sell empty boxes for a couple a bucks, they have larger ones too.

I just brush painted the inside of a 32 ford I'm working on. I was curious about Vallejo paints, and wanted to give it a try. I used a brush that was probably too small for the job, and it still came out great! I always rattlecanned the interiors, just wanted to see what all the hype was about. Would I try brush painting a body? I don't think so. If I were to try, I would probably do it like "Snake" suggested.

I can kinda escape for a while when I'm building...Forget about the little things. I find problem solving to be the most rewarding during builds. It gives me a feeling of temporary invincibility.

Played some rhythm guitar and some vocals for a couple of bands. I miss my old tube amps. Been thinking about a low wattage tube amp lately. Maybe a 15 watt Orange. Would love to get another Laney AOR.
