  1. I wish I could afford a Pocher kit. The details are unbelievable. I'm sure you'll do this kit justice Harry, as usual.
  2. I almost forgot one Bill Drennen. I have one of his hoods. To the best of my knowledge it was the last in his stock. He was supposed to be casting more last year for Christmas time. I hope he made and is making more. They are very nice pieces. On another note, the 389 that P&P offers is nice as well.
  3. I only know of Gary Wallace. GWtrucks@yahoo.com
  4. I've had this happen to me, a few times. Just not on such high priced items like this. I get out bid, the item runs up my max, I get out bid. Then a few hours later I get an email with an offer to buy it since I was second highest bidder.
  5. Man John, this is lookin great. The V-drive looks awesome.
  6. X2 to what John and Chris said. Amazing work man. I still think this will start up and idle.
  7. It seems super easy. The hardest part would be getting the curve right. Find whatever size to scale to 3 inch by inch and a half styrene and I would think "plate" style mounting out of .01 or .015 styrene sheet. That's how I would start.
  8. Great build man. Well done. I don't blame ya for getting off the road. I would too. I've been thinkin about it myself, but my reasoning is regulations getting out of control. That's a whole other can worms. You sure know how to build trucks, and do it well.
  9. I'd say your gonna end up scratching one up. It doesn't look hard at all.
  10. Good to see you back on this Rich. Nice touches on the tops and window frame. I think an aged brick look would fit this perfect, but that's my opinion.
  11. Great lookin builds man. The paint work looks great on the Lonestar.
  12. Too cool man. It's good see the youngins playin with plastic.
  13. Amazing work. The tank straps look perfect. And only a truck driver would put old copies of the colorin book pages on the floor. I love it!
  14. Nice haul. I can't wait to get my 378s. I'm not sure why, I have zero motivation to work on anything.
  15. I would love to have that 52 Pete. Well, any if those needle nosed Petes.
  16. Those look really nice.
  17. Thanks man, i really do appreciate the kind words. This was my Thursday morning. Summer time in the southwest is sure purty.
  18. Thanks for sharing the photos man. Looks like a great show. Cool builds.
  19. You sir are very lucky to get to travel like that, see what you have. But I know you work hard and earn those views. Because of people like you, protecting these sites for the rest of enjoy, Thank You.
  20. I have to say, the biggest thing I hate about driving truck, is the sccidents. It gets to me sometimes when I see a bad accident. Especially when a major factor is the cause is distracted drivers, cars or trucks. The worst I seen was a few years ago. A moving van, a Penske van, a family moving. The rental was stopped on the shoulder, with what I would guess, the family Suburban on its right with a flat. A big truck, came along, speeding, totally destroyed the rental. All I could make out was the color and rear roll up frame. Everything else was scattered all over. The biggest thing that's burned into my memory is that yellow tarp. That is one I truely, to my core, DO NOT want to see. To be honest I pulled over a few miles down the road. Made a few phone calls to tell people I loved them, because you never know what is going to happen. I trust myself on the road, it's the other person who isn't watching what they're doing that will ruin someone's world, to core.
  21. I'd say your spot on Jim. It's the celebrity fascination that keeps that accident in the news and the drunk and high Joe Schmoe barely reported on.
