MENG F350 DUALLYS
Gothicz House Of Kustomz replied to dannyi's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Do ya have super singles to fit this truck? -
LMBO, yeah I get those from time to time, the idea, Pot Luck Winner Build Off, a build off where the builder brings the prize to the table, yeah, it could be a gift card, cash, parts, kits, wheels, whatever, each builder that enters would have a choice as to what they want to bring to the pot luck prize chest, only the builders tho, and to be fair, only the builders can vote, yeah I understand there would be some trust involved, the builder would announce their pot luck prize, prior to signing up, if it's parts, or a kit, even re-builders, doesn't need to be a new kit, but enough of the kit to at least finish it, or rebuild it, then they would need to show pics, cash or gift card, say no more then 25.00 max ?, the rules are simple enough, build whatever, however ya want. a kinda free for all, but once ya sign up, ya cant back out, if ya do ya lose what ya brought to the table, no prior builds, no builds already posted here or anywhere else, doesn't have to be a new kit, just not one posted already, must show progress shots, and what yer gonna build, say take what, 2 weeks? to decide what it is yer gonna build, sign up, say and/or show what yer throwing into the pot luck chest. post the pic's, then from there say take what?, 90 days to build, then open the polls for voting, maybe call it Builders Pot Luck Build off, but I must stress, ya can only win, or vote, if ya enter, just an idea. So lemme kno how ya all feel about this......

Woke up above ground. makes for a great day.

Just about ready for dress out, some minor clean up still, Angel'z lower A-arms, yes done by hand, and surprizing, didn't snap it:

Wow, I do stock and kustom decal work, and am at the moment building a kustom '65 Impala for the slot car world, my MAIN, client is friends with said person, now I have already talked to a caster who is a friend, and has a biz, anyway, my main client, wants me to send the body to said person, after reading all this, which I'm glad I did, I'm now having second thoughts. wow, not trying to sarcastic, but thank you for this post, and I'm GLAD I took the time to read this, once again thank you.

Something really bothers me, so if someone could help me out, point me in the right direction, please don't say google, been there done that, but the cross member, just, ummmm, well, looks wrong, now the frame and front suspension is off the the Revell lowrider Caddy kit, somebody kno the year of that Caddy?
-
Exactly what they are, got like 500 of'em, for like 6.00, I do alot of slammed stuff, and thought I would go with the thinner ones, to give that slammed look. OK, well I'm not one to leave well enough alone, so I'm setting up to add to the lower A arms, for the air bags: WARNING NOT PRETTY:
-
thanx everyone, NOW, here is my idea of flat non bomb looking air bag, needs a lil dressing still, but so in the right direction, got to thinking, if flat, then the bags would be a lil wider then the plates, but like I said, in the right direction.

Super single rims?
Gothicz House Of Kustomz replied to Petetrucker07's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I was looking for super single tires, got the same answer ya got, still looking, may have found one in my stash, yeah 1 tire, still looking, funny how small the world is, my dad had a resto shop up on bear valley road, and we lived in apple valley, over by the airport, -
Not actually an update, but a step forwards, started the interior, soooooooo not posting pic's of that, as it is so not pretty, will be soon tho, anyway, played with the suspension some, allot of changes to be made, oh an made a flat airbag system, never could under stand why, when ppl do slammed car'z/truck'z, they always use bag set up'z, that look like the bag has air in it???????, if yer slamming, then shouldnt the air bag'z look sorta. I dunno, like there isn't air in'em????, I'm no rocket expert, but plump air bag'z tell me, ummmmmm up. anyway, my bag look'z like a bomb with a purple fuze, but fit the frame to the lower A arm perfect, ok not perfect so to speak, have to tweek the A arm'z a lil, might be to low, might have to go with a triple bag, "would ya like a bag sir?" "no thank'z got one at home" I actually have myself fooled into believing, I can have this all working, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
-
Yeah, Revell '69 Torino roof, 1/24 scale, Amx/Jav rear, now that sounds like something I would be interested in doing, hmmmmmmmmmm, but nah JT, but ya just gave me an idea tho, I still have the roof from the Nova, hehehehehehe, thanx guys for the interest, I'm thinking tonight, might start the 572 BB for this, thanx everyone.

'64-'65 Rivie clip, now one with the '64 The new kustom door opening system, I like to call, GUILLOTINE DOORS, and yes they will stay in any locked position, from open to full open and close to full close, in other words, NO! they do not sag, any any point. here is a vid of the driver side door actually working, this is only a mock up, next couple of days, I will post pic's of both doors, then on to kustom jambs, and sills http://vid268.photobucket.com/albums/jj13/unforgiven2008/64%20Angel/Doorvideo001_zps8bf5b5ac.mp4

Roughed in just a lil Starting to take some shape New body molding added, just for a lil flair Grill area looking good
-
The frame is the Revell lowrider Kaddy, added 5/16" and narrowed to fit the body, the engine no longer looks like this, as it has been striped, and will also have Kustom paint work and detail, but sure looks nice in that cradle. Gotta luv free filler
-
Yep, started this a few months back, kinda taken a life of it's own, almost done with the body, engine is striped, waiting now for some adhesive spray, for the tuck and roll interior, added a '64-'65 Rivie front clip, and the rear panel from, I think a '68 Kaddy kustom kit, not sure, but it worked, and designed a whole new kustom opening door system, WARNING, there are prolly to many pic's, but I think ya guys will enjoy them, so please sit back and enjoy, all this work, just to be auctioned off, LMBBO.

Woke up, above ground.

The truck sorta looks like the dreadnaught from Death Race, heck even the trailer looks like a hokey movie, just from that I wont be wasting any of my money. but thanx anyway., and for the interceptor with last V-8, sure seems like they found a bunch for this, and their bringing back the Interceptor, almost as pristiene as it was before Max flipped it, an it exploded, and for it being rolled, they sure did a great job putting back together, without even a dent, thats the way it looks in the movie, here is a link to the resurected Interceptor, pics. bummer.... And yes I know they made more the one, but in fallowing the story line, personal opinion, this is gonna suc. http://www.madmax4-movie.com/news/364
