  1. I bought the paint from Paintscratch.com, it is touch up FLY Yellow for a 95 Ferrari. Lions Roar photo-etch for the brake rotors. More Pics Here. Thank you.
  2. Fun model to build, comes out looking pretty good. On this one I used Studio 27 Ferrari emblem on the hood & lions roar photo-etch rotor faces. Thanks for looking.
  3. I got this one done yesterday, enjoy! This went together really well, no warpage or ill fitting parts. Gotta love these old AMTs. Thanks for looking :-) More Pics here.
  4. Started way back in 95 or so. I've decide to get this one done next year. Painted duplia-color 70's GM green (I forget the name) I'm using some pre-painted stuff from another Monte kit to finish it up. At first I thought it was sitting kinda high, but after looking at some pics of the real ones, I don't think so. Talk about ground clearance! Interior will be green flocking for carpet, white seats & door panels, and a black dash. Thanks
  5. I picked this up as a present to myself Dec 24, I swapped out the oversided donk wheels for a set of Aoshima Kranse 20's. I'm thinking of Tamiya Metallic Black when it gets warm enough to paint again. More later.
  6. Some daytime pics.
  7. Got a chance to get some outside pics yesterday of this one. Thanks for looking.
  8. Here they are for your review, they are up on my Folki Account. my builds 2008 Thanks for looking.
  9. I hope this works, as this is the first time I've tried to do this. My Folki Album
  10. I can't do any better than complements from someone who owned one, thank you very much! All it takes is practice to get the foil right, keep it up and you too can do it great. Thanks again!
  11. Thank you! I was going for that classic 70's look and I think I pulled it off.
  12. The Super coil comes from Replica & Miniatures of maryland and they are pretty neat! No painting is required and they even come with the Accell Decal.
  13. I used standard Krylon Semi-Gloss paint, but I'm not really happy with it since it gave the seats some texture as well. Thanks
  14. Got this one done a week ago but did not have any light outside to take pics. I took these shots yesterday. Painted "Da Ja" blue with wet look clear both by testors. The engine is from Revell's 66 El Camino. Parts box steering wheel. Thanks for looking :-)
  15. This one is painted Testors Auto Lacquer Hemi Ornage with Testors Ultra clear on it. I hope to get this one done by Wednesday, if I do then that will make 38 completes this year. Wow. Thanks for looking!
  16. Nova Update. I got the BMF done and the interior almost complete. Won't be long now. After I painted the SS on the grille I thought, "this would be a great place for a decal." Then I looked at the decal sheet and guess what, there are SS decals. I may go ahead and use them on this build. I'm hoping to get this done by Saturday or Sunday, then I can call it my "Nova in November." :-) Thanks for looking.
  17. Thanks for looking :-)
  18. Quick 4 day build. Thanks.
  19. Built April of this year. THanks for looking :-)
  20. Built for a Donit It challenge on the Spotlight Hobbes Message Board, it didn't turn out too bad. I know it's not most of "our cup of tea," but it was a fun build. Thanks for looking.

    AMT 66 Nova

This is an original kit, I started it way back in 1988 & finally got it done this year! Thanks for looking.
  22. Yes, it's a new color in their "One Shot" line. It does need a clear coat & I've found (for me) that the "Wet Look" clear also from Testors works great.
  23. The Cragers are MRC units. The tires are some American Satco (R.I.P) Perilli's.
  24. Interior will be black & white.
