  1. I hope to get this done today. It's a Fujimi 1995 Honda Civic. Interior shot. Painted Testors Grey Fabric with Tamiya German gray for the carpet. Shot of the dash. The silver part is the native plastic, I just taped over it prior to painting. The Honda emblem on the steering wheel is by Crazy Modeler. The undercarrage. I have the exhaust muffler painted my untra chrome that I'll be putting on later. Some after market wheels & brakes from Fujimi wheel kits. The wheels are Enkei RP03 while the Brembo brakes are from another wheel/tire set. A view of the rear with Crazy Modeler "Civie" script & Honda emblem. Model is painted Tamiya Blue-Purple without a clear coat Here it is pieced together. Well, that's it for now. I'm hoping to get this together and another one finished. What better way to celebrate a birthday eh? Thanks for looking!
  2. I'll take some better pics later, just wanted to share with you the new complete I have This one makes 16 so far this year! Thanks for looking
  3. Hi Yad, Yeap, I know. It's also the Jazz in Australia too. You guys in the U.L. have the cool 4 wheel disc brakes and "7 speed" CVT!
  4. Thanks! We recently got a real life 1:1 Fit Sport. We had to put a $1000 "purchase order deposit" on it then we waited about a month for it. I was antzy, wanted it sooner! But it is a fun car to drive and gets great milage and it's not a slug! It was well worth the wait!
  5. Thanks for the advice, I'll try that when I get it done.
  6. Finally got some decent pics of it. Painted Tamiya Light gun metal without a clear coat.
  7. Painted Tamiya Metallic black with a clear coat. Some of the side chrome is done. This was painless so I hope the rest of it goes as well. I like this color paint, but I can't seem to get a good picture of it. I don't know if the problem is with me or the camera
  8. It's Tamiya TS52 Candy Lime Green. I can't remember what I shot it over, maybe flat white.
  9. Yeah, I read your reply and seems like you were right Now I just gotta look for a Tiida or Versa if they ever make one. I think the whole thread got wiped when I answered "Japan" to the question of where did I find them. Man, they sure don't want anyone thinking there is anyplace else besides Hobby Heaven to get kits! Anyway, sounds like you have yourself a cool new job, bummer about being restricted at work. I mean, they want you to be there 40 hours a week and THEN they expect you to do WORK???? ha ha. Hey, good luck & hope you enjoy it!
  10. Got an opportunity to shoot some new pics of this model yesterday afternoon. Here they are. This is actually a repaint. I had done a flip-flop blue-purple but didn't like the way it turned out. I thought the body was toast and even bought another kit to replace this one. Then I plopped it in the drink and hoped for the best. In this picture you can see the remanents of the stripping job. I'm hoping that when I do the flat black trim on the headlights and around the engine compartment that the bad sections won't be as noticeable. A somewhat colorful undercarrage. Flat aluminium gas tank, Testors buffing aluminium plate for the engine and rear axle, Krylon Ultra Chrome for the exhaust, Krylon Ultra gold for the front & rear suspension control arms, Tamiya Titanium Gold for the upper rear control arms, and Tamiya Metallic gray for the rear stablizer bar. Close up of rear suspension "Glam" shot. This morning I finished the interior, Tamiya Semi glose black door panels, seats, & dash with charcoal flocking. I don't have a picture of the interior to show you, sorry. Next is to do the final detailing on the body and final assembly, Maybe by next week sometime I'll have number 16 done! Thanks for looking!
  11. Hello all, I just love Fujimi, they make such interesting kits. Here are my latest additions to my collection. Look closely and you will see the new Versa Yaris anyone? I have these 2 on order although I don't know when they will be released. I do have this one coming though, the European version of the Yaris. I don't know if the 3 door is available in kit form or not, I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I wonder if Mercedes will ever sell this in the states? A newer version of the Wagon R A "Stepped on" version by Suzuki Motor Sports Another Altezza (Lexus) with a wing. Anyone for an Audi? And I got this one from Tom of Hobby Heaven Fame via ebay. Okay, I'm done, can't get no more  At least not until I get some of the ones I got built. Thanks
  12. I got the Fit completed, but I don't have any good pictures to share with you all yet. After getting the Fit done, I decided to work on some "back burner" kits. I now have the running gear in the Fairlady Z. I've decided to paint the interior basic black as the paint color is wild enough. (Tamiya Candy Lime green) I also have the interior & running gear installed on the Celica GT. Then as if I don't have enough started, I grabbed my Lexus LS430 Sunday morning and shot some Tamiya Metallic Black with clear over the body. This morning I painted the interior panels semi-gloss black. I "borrowed" the stock wheels from the Celsior so that I could build a stock "Americanized" LS430. In the next couple of days I'll try and get some real pics of these in progress. Later.
  13. Thank you I had a lot of fun building it and I'll say you didn't go wrong! Lets see some pics when it's done.
  14. Just got these in yesterday from Japan. The Modulo Honda is called a Step Wagon. It is slightly shorter than the Elgrand, Alphard, etc.. I ordered this set from Hobby Search in Tokyo, Japan. And I got these being shipped as I post this I ordered these from Hobby World in Shizuoka-shi, Shizuoka-ken, Japan. Thanks for Looking
  15. Cool, a base model Porsche! With those wheels it looks like the "striper" version (remember entry level Novas with "dog dish" hubcaps :?: Very cool. I like your 8 hour build! Some people think that if you don't dedicate a year or more to a build then your not a "serious" modeler but I think that building a "quickie" and having it look great (like yours) shows talent I tell ya, I'd take "talent" over "serious" anyday! Keep up those 1 day wonders!
  16. Here is the kit I'm building. And here is what I have done so far on it. More will be coming as soon as I finish the Delicia Star wagon, Leeza Aero, El Grand, Alphard, etc...
  17. I got the windows painted & the interior done, now all I need to do is to clean up the windows where the black ran under the tape. Painted Tamiya Light gun metal gray. Interior is a mixture of Tamiya brush Sky Gray, Metallic grey, and native grey plastic from the kit. Thanks for looking
  18. Well, here it is, up on it's wheels with the interior done. Now just need to detail the body and final assembly.
  19. Number 14 in the continuing hits parade, Daihatsu Move CX by Fujimi & me. Thanks
  20. I'll take some better pics later this weekend, but for now, here she is! This is the 13th build of the year, equalling my build number for last year. Thanks
  21. It's made by Gunge-Sangyo. Reason why I ask is because I've about ran out of my Tamiya liquid cement and need to get some more. The place that I found that has Gunge-Sangyo paints only has the ultra thin Tamiya so I was wondering how the G-S (Mr. Hobby) cement compares to the Tamiya standard cement. Any comments? Thanks

  23. I was looking for Gunze-Sangyo paints on line and I found this place. It's in California and I've never ordered from them before so I was wondering if anyone here has. If so, how were they? Thanks in Advance
