I don't know what my problem is, I really do like building the truck kits but I seem to not get them done. In various stages of completion, here are the ones sitting around waiting for me to get back to them. ERTL IH Paystar 5000. This one started out as the cement mixer. I wanted to put the mixer on the Mack DM800 kit I have so I converted this one into a pipe carrying truck. I have the Italeri lift completed and it's sitting on the frame. Just need to get back to this one. Re-release of the Payhauler 350. There is still a lot to do to this one. Italeri Valvo VN780. It's actually a bit further along than this pic shows, I have the exhaust on and the interior done. Almost have the cab done on this one while I'm still fighting on getting the trailer smooth enough for the decal. Mack R, been sitting like this for a couple of years. RoG kennworth Australia, yeap, gotta fix that sleeper. Italeri Mercedes Benz Actros, I really should have shot the sides of the trailer flat black. RoG Peterbilt 359, this is going on front of the RoG car hauler trailer. AMT Peterbilt 359 this one is going with the AMT lowboy trailer. ERTL IH Eagle II & AMT livestock trailer.

Yes, the convertible is a snap kit. It compares well with the regular glue kit. I did not use any of the stickers that came with the kit because they looked too shiney to me and the instrument sticker was too dark. I used decals from the 2010 glue kit for the instruments. The convertible has a different dash than the glue kit, more of a basic radio whereas the glue kit has the fancier voice-activated info-tainment center. I used the tires and wheels from the 07 Shelby kit for this build. It went together easy and was a pretty fast build. I'd recommend it to anyone as it does capture the look really well.

Very slick looking! The color is right as I've seen a lot of Darts painted that color.

Painted Testors Auto Lacquer Fathom green with ultra clear. Built box stock.
-
Painted Testors One Coat Purple-licious with wet look clear, it has some problems but at least it's done!

2010 GT is done!

Update on the 2010 Convertible. Painted with Tamiya maroon, dash instrument decals were taken from the 10 GT Glue kit. Wheels/Tires are from 2007 Shelby GT500 kit. Needs just a bit of cleanup around the black and final assemby. That's all I got so far, I'm hoping to get these done by early next week.

Update on the 2010 GT, just a few other pieces to put on. Painted with Testors "Da Ja" Blue and wetlook clear. Tires/Wheels from 2006 Hertz Shelby kit with 2010 GT wheel cap decals. Just need the strut brace and decals plus a little bit of cleanup painting for the engine compartment.

A small update. Got the Gold one done, final pics have been posted in Under Glass. The 2010 GT is a few parts away from being complete, and the 2010 convertible is well on it's way to being done as well. Wow, completes in the first quarter of 2012, I'm on a roll

Painted Testors "Old Coat" Inca Gold with Testors "Wet Look" clear. I buttoned this one up Saturday. Sporting 23” Vantages by Pegasus Hobbies and a lowered suspension. If I had to do it over again, I would lose the roof stripes as they didn't go on very well for me. Interior is flat black floor with semi-gloss blacke seats and door panels. Dash panel is painted aluminium with Testors brush chrome around the instruments & air vents. Looks like I should have done a litle bit more trimming on the bottom of the taillights. Oh well, a tip to remember for the next one :-) Certainly not contest quality, but it was a fun build never the less. I really like how the windows went in. Thanks for looking :-)

I did use some F-70 tires from the partsbox & a phot-etched "hang 10" gas pedal, so I guess it really isn't OOB, but really close ;-)
-
Here is mine that I finished last year. Paint is Testors Auto Lacquer 64 Cheviy Silver/blue. Built OOB. Front fender decals are from the Revell 62 Impala kit.

I can play along here. I have a few of these that I started building last year. First up, 08 GT500KR. Painted Testors Inca Gold with a set of Peggies 23" & lowered. This one is almost done, just need to put in the windows & taillights. Next, a 2007 Shelby GT500 painted Testors Blazing Black. Also with some 23"s on it. 2010 GT painted Testors Da Ja blue. I have the tires/wheels off the Hertz kit on this one. Speaking of which, here is the Hertz kit painted Testors Revving Red with a set of 23"s on it. Last but not least, this one was just recently started, 2010 Convertible with the tires/wheels from the 07 Shelby kit. Still in the boxes and waiting to be built are these. So I guess you could say I caught the Late Model Mustang Bug bad :-)

That means he tried to link to a file on his computer, the "C:/Do...." is a dead giveaway. The file needs to be uploaded to the site for people to be able to see it.

NNL Mid-Atlantic 2009 hosted by MAMA Enjoy & thanks for looking.

Hey this looks pretty cool! I like the 2 tone paint scheme.
-
The tires are a set of American Satco Firestone wide whites.
-
It is painted with Testors Auto lacquer Dark Cherry with clearcoat.

I actually liked the kit a lot. For what it is, its a pretty good model and easy to put together. Not bad at all. I know it is aimed at younger audiences and I can see kids putting this together with no problems.
-
Nope, there are no stock door handles, wheels/tires, or interior. It would take a lot of scratch building to convert it over to stock. Some people have done it, but I just wanted a fun quick build. Thanks.
-
I swapped out the way big donk wheels for a set of Aoshima 20's, other than that this is box stock. I love the stock decals! Thanks for looking.
-
This was a fun 4 day build, went together really nice. Pink flocking & kit plastic grey interior. Thanks for looking

I got this from a friend in Australia a couple years back and just had to build it. Straight from the box. I am going to fix those wipers though :-) It's kinda hard to see, but I do have brown flocking for carpet More Pics Here

Pretty much box stock except for the Crazy Modeler emblems. Fun little build, although I must admit I prefer the Aoshima GT-R34s, they look "meaner" to me More Pics Here Thanks for looking!
