Joe, while I appreciate the support I do not appreciate the accusations that I am doing something to exclude you because you are not up to using the technology that is offered to make online buying easy for both seller and buyer! I am not sure how you thought you would pay for the items I am selling (or how you order items online from other vendors who offer products for sale) with out having an online account to do so. I have stated on my web site that Pay Pal is how I take money for the items I offer for sale. I offered the items through eBay (which costs me more to do so than just on my web site) so I could assure guys who have been waiting on the items that they are poured and ready to ship out. The first batch of orders went out this morning. It's 2015, I use the technology and tools at hand to help me do this. This is a hobby for me as well....not a business. I got out of the aftermarket business back in 2003 when I sold Resinworks. I have a full time career that takes a lot of my time and attention and enjoy resin casting to help bring new items to the hobby and at the end of the day I want to make sure those who want to purchase an item from me, can rest assured that it is poured and will be shipped with little delay. Not taking their money and holding it until I feel like casting it and sending - sometimes months later, like some of the aftermarket guys have done so many times to so many people. Larry -

Not sure why your having a problem Joe. If you go through the eBay check out you will use Pay Pal to pay. That would be the same payment option if you were buying from my site. Do you have a Pay Pal account? Thanks Larry -

UPDATE I have these available through eBay at the current time. As there are many who had PM'ed me about them and it is hard to tell who is serious and who is not and if the total they tell me they want is real. Do a search for Finksgarage as the user name or in the model car category under "resin VW" should pop up some of my stuff. Currently this is the ONLY way to get the VW Engine kit & the Transmission kits - NO sales of these items on the web site at this time. It is all the same price as on the site and is "buy it now". I will combine shipping to save you money - just as I would on the web site. As these items sell out I will replace them with more as I get them poured. Figured this is the easiest way to keep track and for you guys who wanted them to purchase what you want. I have all my items that are currently available listed on eBay - so order the parts you need for the projects you are working on - save on shipping and know these parts are cast and in hand ready to go out the door - no delay on getting items! Thanks Larry -

JP, I am assuming you have never cast resin before, or if so not using production equipment. My compressor, pressure chamber and work bench will not fit inside my house. And I am pretty sure the wife would have an issue if I took over one of the extra bedrooms to do this inside the house...LOL! John, I appreciate the support and I have a huge waiting list that seems to grow by 2 or 3 a week. Once it warms up I will have at least a good weekend on the bench pouring nothing but these engines. I am excited to see what you guys do with them. I think these along with the transaxle kits, and rims I have will be the perfect marriage to Norms VW Baja Bug he has out. Thanks Larry -

Winter cold weather is still killing the casting process on these guys, sorry for the delay. I wish these would cast as I know many of you want them. But I assure you they will be worth the wait. Thanks for understanding. Larry -

Those are cool! But I couldn't see much demand in me making the masters for this. If you or someone wants to make the master I would entertain molding them up and casting them. Right now I am just trying to get resin poured in the cold weather to get these engine kits out......I hate cold weather and small/thin cast parts....have I said that already! LOL! -

I have been getting several PM's from guys wanting the VW engine kit. I am still in the process of making them up. The weather this time of year plays a factor in casting these. My garage/shop is not heated and these tiny, thin parts do not produce well in cold. The resin doesn't want to "kick" as tit would when the temps are above lets say 60 degrees. I also will have brake drums and transmission kits available at the same time the engine kits are released and ready to sell - all for the VW builder. Please understand that I will NOT take money for these until I have them in hand - ready to ship. If you have send me a PM stating you want one, or more, I have your name on a list and will contact you first before updating the web site that they are for sale to the general public - so those who were first to want these are taken care of, first. I am hoping to get a couple poured up this weekend - more if the weather is warmer as they have stated it will be. Again, thanks for understanding and your patience. Larry -

These are the first test shots of the resin VW engine mastered by Empinut, cast by me. Kit will come with block, heads, intakes, generator and mounting bracket, pulleys and belt and fan shroud and distributor. What do you guys think? -

I am the guy casting the rims and actually have a couple more VW rims in the works. Finksgarageresin is my Facebook page. I take PayPal as well. I plan on doing the motor Bill mastered and have available the end of October first of November along with other VW parts. Not sure if posting this kind of stuff is ok on here. Please advise, if not I will delete the post. Thanks Larry -

Hey Mike, how are you? See you moved from Chicago to AZ. Better weather for sure! Doing good and having fun! -
My name is Larry Krauck. Been building since the late 70's, back when you could collect pop bottles or mow a lawn and head to the local shop and buy a kit. I started resin casting in the late 90's with a little company I started called Resin Works, selling that in 2003. Since then I have been focused on building real vehicles and dabbled a little in casting artifacts and shift knobs and building very few models. Know that my kids are grown and out of the house and I have a "bucket list" vehicle in the garage, I figured I would step back into building models and casting resin. I do not have a web site but do have a Facebook page - look me up - finksgarageresin - is my resin and digital graphics page and Samhandwich5 is my personal page. And my Fotki account is Finks Garage and has photos of my builds and such under Kraucks Krap. Two things I have noticed in my return to the hobby - kits are freakin' expensive and the talent and creativity of current builders is better than it was back in 2003! I'll have to step up my game to keep up! I look forward to getting back to the bench and learning new techniques for my builds. Larry
