Nice build. I hate to rain on your parade but, the difficulty will arise when you install the engine in a truck. I found that out when I built the Clint Freeman Detroit Diesel Series 60 and put it in to a Italeri FLD 120. The turbo may have to be moved, air to air connections are fiddly and the oil pan may have to be turned around and the engine mounts are tricky. Just some advice.

I took a ton of pictures to replicate this engine. I have several brochures as well as tech manuals. Unfortunately, they are boxed away. Car Modeler Magazine had an article detailing a 8V92N & 8V92TA engine. How close is that? http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...may_1991_detro/

Ok, I used Clint Freeman's wheels for this model. They were scaled for the Italeri truck kits (1/24th). These are 5 hole steel wheels, but he offered 2 hole steel wheels also. They were the best reproduction I have ever seen of these wheels. Unfortunately Clint stopped selling 2 years ago and the wheels were discontinued 5 or 6 years ago. Dave Natale purchased the old Jim Etter AIM line and has been expanding the offerings quite regularly. He plans to offer some wheels. Check out his site. http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/news.html
