  1. Everyone should always wear their seat belts.Even back seat passengers.I remember for the longest time, when I was younger, and stupid,I would never wear a seat belt.Actually when I first got my license, wearing seat belts was not really a priority. There were no laws yet on the books..Then when I was in my 20s I got a speeding ticket. So I decided to take one of those boring 6 hour,, defensive driving classes. The class was packed with other drivers. The instructor first asked everybody to raise their hands if they didn't wear a seatbelt.Well I was the only person in the room to raise my hand.Everybody turned around and gave me "are u crazy looks",Then the teacher started lecturing me.Anyway,I was pretty embarrassed being the only one who raised their hand. Now ever since taking that class,I always wear my seat belt.It just comes natural.I don't even think about it..I get in the car, start my engine, check my mirrors, and then put my belt on.Plus,I don't want some stupid ticket for not wearing one.Anyway, they save millions,ok (correction, thousands) of lives everyday, and thats a fact. But I just can't understand how two cops, driving in a very fast car,no less, weren't wearing their belts. What a wasteful tragedy.
  2. Coming along real nicely.
  3. Well apparently I didn't read the date that this tragedy occurred.I apologize,it appears it happened in May of last year.
  4. Just read about two off duty NYPD cops ,that were killed just hours after one of them just got married. They apparently rented a Maserati and were speeding. They were also not wearing seat belts. The car hit a tree in upstate NY.Both died, but a third person, who was wearing a seat belt, survived. RIP.
  5. This is Just an idea,U should get the wheels nice and dirty.I still think it's a great unique build.
  6. Sorry everybody,I don't know,it posted twice,and I'm not sure how to completely delete a post.Whatever.
  7. I'm pretty sure they will sell like crazy.I love Jeep's,real Jeep's,like my 2000 Cherokee, lifted 6,1/2 inches, running on 35s.But I have often wondered why they didn't release a so call "Wrangler Pick up",much sooner. There were rumors for years about the release of the Gladiator..I just don't know why it took so long.
  8. I posted this a few years ago,but decided to repost it again, and in the drag racing section...Anyway,If anybody is looking for some very cool NOS bottles,or a colored turbo, check these out. They are key chains.Actually the NOS tanks are pill holders. Now they are obviously too big for 1/24-25th scale cars, but maybe some of the larger scale builders can use them.Just Google it.And they come in several different colors. And u can remove the chain part. They're obviously metal.
  9. Check out Lex's modeling. They have a big selection of Outlaw/cowl hoods. This is the hood for the 67 Chevelle.
  10. Oh I didn't know that.Guess I should've read some more..But I still like the two door better. And if Jeep was smart, they should release a two door version first.
  11. Definitely sad news.RIP Sam Foose.
  12. Well it's about time Jeep released the Gladiator. Its a great looking truck. However I prefer the two door model. But still,I'll stick to my 2000 XJ.Thats a great truck, hardly ever gives me any problems.Well except I need a heater core.Arrggg.Got to get that done really soon, cause it's getting real cold here in NY.
  13. Ok,this is a great build.Excellent job weathering and details.I see so many cars on the roads that look just like that.It looks like either a train station car,or some college kids first car.Very realistic
  14. Nice job, good little cars too.
  15. Nice build
  16. Gotchatoo.
  17. Yea that truck,if it's a real car,is a Dodge.Your right,they could've at least used a Chevy PU.
  18. I like the bandaid made from cardboard.A long time ago,I had a buddy get into an accident. The passenger side was badly dented. So We spray painted a big bandaid, and wrote "OUCH" on the door.People were laughing everywhere we went.
  19. Yea I hear ya...It looks like a newer pick up truck that someone slapped on the front and rear of sections of a 57.??
  20. OUCH!!!!!.I need a bandaid.
  21. Looking good, what color are you looking to paint the body?In the past,I've used that chassis,(tubs),and roll cage on a 66 Chevelle.Came out pretty good if I remember correctly.I Like the 67,and love the 66 Chevelle.
  22. Great kit, built them a bunch of times in the past.Question, are building this car box stock?
  23. Yea I bought a bunch of these tires from Pegasus, hobbies. They were the biggest slicks I could find. They were top fuel tires, and they came with Goodyear decals in white or yellow. They also included rear wheels. But now I can't find them anywhere..Oh and the car looks great.
  24. The only top fuel model that I know that might work is Don Garlit's Swamp Rat,which happens to be one of the very first dragsters with a closed canopy.
  25. Ah,another wild Nova build.Love it,all your Novas come out looking great. Not to mention your garage diorama. And Slixx decals are definitely the best ones out there.Never had a problem with them.
