  2. So after finally getting the already glued pieces to part I sprayed acoat of primer onto the engine, than......tragedy struck, when I was about to get my compressor and airbrush ready, my compressor seemed to make almost no preasure, after messing with it for a bit, I gave up and decided to just buy a new one since that on old Paasche beauty is 30+ years old and been a bit abused, so than on my way to my nearest Michaels ( I know why in the world would you go to michaels) to get some paint, I saw this little Testors airbrush kit, and since I had a coupon to get 50% off anything I decided to try this out! came out to little over 11 dollars! anyways this is what it comes with and for a temporary back up I think it will do the job! I'll let you know how it handles the job!
  3. I actually just found mine, thanks anyways!
  4. Im having trouble detaching soms already glued pieces, I dont want to force it, I was thinking hot water maybe?
  5. A tale of sadness yet hope. A long time ago, when I just had started to build model cars I bought this kit and...well, trashed it. Now almost 5 years its time to do it right! I found it today in my storage! everything is here except the instructions, first off, stripping the horrible rattle can paint job! and brushed on interior work!
  6. Thanks guys, I will mess around with rust in my next build, Im thinking a diorama of a bunch of punk greasers in some shady backwoods gas station
  7. after almost a year of not touching a single model I finally decided to finish these old plastic jewels that haunted me from the depths of my closet! and as I thought well maybe I'll just paint her satin white and leave her alone I dove into a deep hole of inspiration and thought "why not try something new", everytime I'd finish a model I'd paint it and make it look out of the factory, but not no more my friends, here is my take on a revell ford pick up and my first try at weathering a model!!!! please feel free to let me know your opinions! I'd love to learn from the Jedi Masters of weathering!
