  1. This is a model of a very famous Aussie racer
  2. Hi Harry. It looks to be riding high, but it is the stock suspension. I think it might be the camera angle.
  3. I like 34s too. Stock 5 window, not my best build. Rodded 5 window. Whenever I can I like to build 1 stock and 1 rodded.
  4. here's a couple of deuces I just finished. Revell Tudor AMT 5 window rod. AMT 5 window stock Hope you enjoy,
  5. I'm 68 and still enjoy building models, although they take a bit longer these days, due to the shaky hands and not 100% eyesight.
  6. Download and give this a try http://www.quickscale.net/

    48 Ford

This the latest addition to my WIP. Very nice casting, no flash or pinholes. Dropped straight onto the donor chassis without any modifications.
  9. George W Bush going into Irak & stirring up the middle east didn't help either.
  10. Hi Jeff, I bought some stuff from Ron. They a pretty good castings, nice crisp detail very few pin holes (which were easy to fix) I ordered and paid for the stuff I got and had it a week later in Australia. So go for it..............Frank
  11. Give Early years resin a look. Good castings and cheap. http://www.freewebs.com/earlyyearsresin/index.htm
  12. Yeah Bernie Ecclestone is a greedy little p***k. He is trying to force the Aussie F1 to change to a night race for the sake of TV rights. He has been told to get stuffed. he couldn't care less about the F1 to him it's the money he gets for the TV rights.
  13. Hi Harry, Iv'e had a pack of those for about 2 years, they're great for holding small parts for painting too. For you other Aussies, I bought mine at Bunnings, they're in the back of the tool section.
  14. I say real, not sure why.

    57 Chevy 1/12

just finished this one today. I know one headlight is upside down, fixed see 3rd pic. Should have shut the hood properly before taking pics.
  16. I'm going for real.
  17. Another alternative. http://www.thepartsbox.com/BB/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=317
  18. Hi Gregg, it's been done by a number of makers using the same tooling, this one is a Minicraft 1/16 scale.
  19. I might have to get another one and do it in the original colours. It's great that Linberg are reissuing these old kits again.
  20. Thanks for the kind remarks guys. It has inspired me to finish a couple of other I have had at the back of the bench for a while. Namely two Rolls Royces (a roadster and a phaeton) I bought three glue bombs in one box from eBay and after sorting through the mess I managed to get enough good parts to build two.
  21. It does have an engine, I took a pic of it but it was lousy. It's a Lindberg kit. Very easy to build. See them often on eBay.
  22. Hi John. Yes it's the Linberg kit, one of they're better kits.
  23. Another one I finished yesterday. This is not an easy kit to put together because of the multi piece body, but with a little effort it turned out ok.
  24. Finished this yesterday.
  25. I need to move this topic to on the bench. how do I do that?
