  1. Thanks for that Chris, Got some ideas from your ladder truck.
  2. Hi Chris, I was so inspired by your fantastic build of the ambulance I ordered one from Ron Andrews. Would it be possible for you to tell me where I might buy the lights and other detailing parts from, also what would the chances of seeing a pic of the underside. I am also going to attempt to build a 32 Ford fire truck, any info you can give me about trhem would be appreciated, as well as where I could get detailing parts like ladders and hose reels etc.
  3. I am going to build a 1932 Ford fire truck to add to my collection of 32 Fords and would like some reference pics so I can detail it properly.
  4. one word "WOW"
  5. Hi Matija, You can contact and order stuff from Norm at this email Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. replmincomd@aol.com Cheers................Frank
  6. Are RMR still in business, I have sent 2 emails and received no answer.
  7. I am still gathering parts. Also the weather is not good for painting at the moment. I have done a bit of work modified a revell chassis to suit AMT parts. you can also see in the background a few of the engines I am working on for them. As the 3 window does not have the insert in the roof, I have had to something about this. More post as I get more done. Frank
  8. Hi Lyle, not getting pics, just the image codes.
  9. Thanks Art, I'll check this out. Frank
  10. Thanks guys, have to keep my eyes open for one of those.
  11. Can anyone tell me if there are any 32 ford kits that have fender mounted spare wheels.
  12. Hi guys I have taken on the project of building one of each body style of the 32 ford. I have gathered most of them, Amt and Revell mainly, the ones they don't model such as B 400, cabriolet, sports coupe, sedan delivery and closed cab pick-up I have got from resin casters. The others, phaeton tudor and roadster pick-up I will modify from kits. The 1st problem is that Revell kits only come as street rods, so I have to modify the chassis back to stock to take the AMT front ends and diffs and chase up these and stock wheels and tires for them. If anyone has any spares of these parts I would appreciate some I am quite prepared to pay. This is the AMT phaeton body I modified into a tudor, This is what I intend to duplicate in model form. I will put up more pics as I get going. Here are a few pics of the resin bodies I have. This is almost finished. I have started on the roadster pick-up 1st rough in, now for putty and sanding.
  13. Hi mrm Looks like your taking on a big project there. I also have one of those B400 bodies, but I have been unable to work out what to use as a donor kit, they don't seem to fit either the AMT or Revell kits. Great looking rods so far will be watching these carefully.
  14. Does anyone make resin tires to fit the AMT 32 ford stock wire wheels
  15. Hi Art, This description helps me a lot, many thanks. Cheers.........Frank
  16. Thanks for the links Mike, the one with the pics will help a lot.
  17. Hi guys, I just received my 32 Ford sports coupe and some other parts from Replicars and Miniatures of Maryland WOW. I have never seen resin castings like them. Absolutly perfect not a blemish and as thin as styrene. Norm is great to deal with and easy to communicate with. I'll be ordering some more stuff from him soon.
  18. I have saved that frame plan, it is for a 32 car chassis. A BB truck is the 1.1/2 and 2 ton version and has a different chassis.
  19. Would anyone have a diagram or detail pics of a Ford BB truck chassis.
  20. Thanks Larry, I have a switchers kit, I'll dig it out of the stash and have a look. Had a look at Ma's wheels, have to get me some of them, not sure of the white walls on a truck though. I am attempting to buils a stock version of all the body syles Fords had in 1932, getting all the parts together. Revell only building street rods is a pain, means converting the Chassis back to stock and chasing up stock front and rear ends that are suitable.
  21. Thanks Craig, I'll have to check that out.
  22. does anyone do a commercial (truck)32 ford grill shell. I am building 32 BB truck and the grill shell is different to the car.
  23. Does anyone do a resin 34 Ford sedan delivery
  24. Frank

    32 Ford's

Here are a few of mine as can be seen I don't favour any body style.
  25. I use a #3 scalpel handle that takes #11 blades, the blades are surgical steel and last for ever.
