  1. Can't wait to see how it turns out when you're done building it.
  2. This is really really cool, I love phateons and the interior is perfect on this. It looks really good with just the red steelies too, without baby moons, and the tires fit great as is. I like how you kept it somewhat stock but still looks like a hot rod.
  3. I just got this Jimmy Flintstone body for a steal at the NNL east show for 2 bucks because the grill is slightly broken. I was wondering what I can use to glue it? Crazy glue? Or do I have to buy a special type of resin glue? And what do I need to clean up the body besides clearing out the flash from the casting? I've heard there is stuff on the body that needs to be taken off so the paint can stick. Thanks in advance for responses.
  4. Someone robbed the flatty and put a bee hive there.
  5. That weathering is the best/most realistic I've ever seen on a model.
  6. Do you scratch build your spindles? I need to attach wheels to my T touring on 32 rails but the axle doesn't have the attached spindles. The axle is like yours on here. How are you going to attach the wheels to the dropped axle?
  7. Awesome 32, what kit are the wheels and tires from?
  8. Keep going with the red, what wheels are you planning on using? Maybe red steelies with baby moons?
  9. I wouldn't do the panels but that's just me. I think what you got is perfect for that patina look and you nailed the colors.
  10. Just finished my 32 Vicky. I was going for an original car that someone hopped up with somewhat basic parts. I wanted to keep the original wire wheels as well.
  11. That looks extremely good/realistic, love that color. Will for sure make a cool model.
  12. The very beginnings of a first attempt at using spare parts to build a 29 Ford lakes roadster from the 40's ish. Criticism is welcome. This is a first try at piecing together a whole car from different model kits. I plan to channel the body and I have a model t style short pickup bed that'll hide the rear end.
  13. Here's a 3 window east coast style hot rod I built a little while ago.
  14. I like that cream color looks good.
  15. I'm looking for ones that go with an old 30's American traditional hot rod the best. Thanks for all the replies I think I like the 3D model parts the best. They seem like the most traditional looking
  16. Is there any company that makes 1/24 scale Kelsey Hayes bent spoke wheels? Or any nice regular wire wheels? thanks in advance
  17. I just finished the Revell 29 roadster. It's box stock but it's a great kit right out of the box. I went for a 60's era hot rod. This kit has the best wheels too.
  18. Hola from New Jersey, I like to build models and figured this is a good modeling forum.
