  1. Thanks guys glad you like it! Lol more sanding to do today!!
  2. Well, it's been a long time since I've built or posted anything. Now that our dog is 2 he likes to lay down for a little bit. Not having to supervise him all the time means I have a little free time. Anyway always liked the look of weathered/beat up vehicles, but was too scared to try one myself. Bought this kit and thought what the heck. If it goes bad spare parts. So I sprayed 3 colours duplicolor semi gloss black, then duplicolor red primar. Then finally krylon for the blue. I waited a day for the final Color to dry and then picked out my Favorite chair in the house and started sanding. After sanding most of the day here is my attempt at what you guys make look so easy. Havent decided if I want to use these wheels and paint the spokes with primar..or use skinnies white walls and black steel wheels. Hope you like it. As always comments welcome! Thanks for looking guys!
  3. That is one bad a$$ cuda!! Looks great what kit did you use?
  4. This turned out good! Really like the motor!!
  5. Sounds like you had/or are having one heck of a time to say the least. We dont realize how much we take for granted when our body is in good condition. Hope your on the road to a good recovery.
  6. Well this is my last night home before I leave for work. Figured I'd get a little more finished on the car then clean the bench before I go (room doubles for storage). Got the rear end and engine mounted in. I know I'm missing the brake discs but this will have to do u till I order some. Unless someone can point me in a good direction for a how to, that would be great. I thought of using little washers from machine screws but they looked too bulky. Anyway this is where it sits right now until I get home to finish it! Thanks for looking, comments welcome!
  7. Wow, excellent work!! This is a super cool build. The racecar look just seems to suite this car.
  8. This is looking really sharp! I love it. Can't wait to start mine. Just doing a bit more homework on the car.

  14. Hey guys! Had a great and much needed vacation on PEI. Sister in law got married, my grandfather turned 90 enjoied every minute of it. Glad to be back home I return to work in a week so I decided to get going on my challenger! Not gonna lie I was wishing this kit had a hemi and was debating stripping the one out of my 71 cuda (it's built but in the box as it's missing the windshield). But the more I put this 340 together the more I kinda like it! I used the valve covers that were leftover from my corvette kit. Got a little bit done on the engine last night and painted the headers this morning. Also did some scattered painting on other pieces. Drilled out my distributer and glued the wires in. Also wondering from those that have built this kit, is it easier to add my plug wires "before" I add the headers? Anyway here are some pics and thanks for looking!! All comments welcome!
