  1. Thanks for looking guys!!
  2. Love watching this one. Keep up the great work!!
  3. Well it's been a while but a lot has been going on.. Work got super busy.. Then on top of that we moved across town. So now being in our new place I have a finished basement. So kinda harder to find a work space. But here are a few pics. I've been trying a few different custom grilles and have come up with nothing but a lot of goofy looking things that would never belong on a car. Oh well, still new at this so I have lots of time to learn how some of you guys do such a great job. So I painted up the stock one.
  4. Great looking mustang Carl!!
  5. This is wild!! I'll be watching this one!!
  6. Fred if your looking for those wheels I have a similar set if you need them for a future build...
  7. Thank you Jacob. Will be looking into this as well!! Thanks for looking.
  8. Thanks for the tip Rod. Will definitely check this out.
  9. Well my thinking was if I build the front grill and I do a bad job of it I won't bother with the body work that goes with it. I still have the front grill from the kit to slap on the front end if all goes south. I do understand the crawl before I walk aspect. When I look and this kit is on the shelf I'll be able to say I tried. By no means am I disregarding your advice. I just want to try it and if it doesn't fit or it looks like an eyesore, it just won't go on. thanks for looking.
  10. Looks great! Definitely got my attention!!
  11. This is one Wild lookin machine!! I like it!!
  12. Hey guys. Still not a lot of action on this.. But I was wondering and hopefully some of you can help me on this. I am new to scratch building and really would like to replicate the Fast and furious front end on this car. Any ideas on on how go about this? Thanks for looking.
  13. Would it be easier to buy a die cast? You could possibly salvage the front grill and the wheels? Don't know how expensive they are...
  14. Working on a similar project. Definitely will be watching this one!! Hope you get it going!!
  15. Wow!! This is beautiful!
  16. Well the weekend was cut short.. More fire camps. One in wabasca and another one in slave lake. Seems to be no end in site. Huge fire in cold lake that is 17 000 hectares!!! All I can say is huge shout out to the forestry guys that are doing their best to fight these fires. So needless to say I'll be on the road for a while. Sorry to those following along. But thanks for looking and the kind comments. At least this will give me a few minutes a night to look at old car pictures on Google and plan up other builds!
  17. Looks great!! Nicely done!
  18. Well made it home for the weekend. Going to try and get at it tomorrow. Thanks for following along.
  19. Hey guys!! Sorry for the lack of update, but I've been called back to work setting up fire camps (worked 21 hours yesterday had 6 hrs sleep then worked another 14 today). I know some of you take your builds on the road, but the back roads I have to drive on im afraid I would be doing more rebuilding when I get home. Hopefully these forest fires tame themselves out and things calm down. Thanks to all who have been looking!!
  20. This is going to be really fun to watch!!
  21. Now this right here is wild!!!
  22. Wow love that green!!!!! Definitely got my attention
  23. This is awesome!! Looks real mean in something other than the typical red!! Well done!!
  24. Thanks Jonathan!
  25. Well thought I'd try something new. Figured I bent enough wire on the motor that what the heck I may as well try making seatbelts. Bent a couple make shift buckles and cut thin strips of hockey stick tape. It has a nice cloth texture on it. Hopefully it will take flat black paint well... Again thanks for lookin. Comments and criticisms more than welcome guys!!
