Hi all hope everyone had very happy holidays. I just picked up this kit at the hobby shop today. I was googling for pictures but all I seem to find are body pics. Was wondering if any of you would have decent reference pics. Thanks!!

Headlights on carpet I find if you use flashlight the headlight reflects it back... Sometimes...haha

Well back at it after the holidays.. Got a little done tonight. I would have put in the drive shaft but.... The stupid thing fell under the bench. Decided to look for it after I calmed down in the morning. Anyway if I can't find it no big deal lol that's why I have a parts box!! I'll see what I can do! These were the first ones I've done. And it was the only wire I could find laying around. Is the wire to thick and the spring too long?

I think no matter how I did the wiring it would have turned out looking like this. I didn't drill out the distributer like some ppl choose to do. I just slipped the wires through a very small straw and painted it gold. Maybe one day I'll try to drill out the distributer.

But I think I'll leave them the way they are I'm real happy with how everything looks and again thanks for lookin and thanks for the kind words. Hope you all have a merry Christmas. Well tonight was a good night!! Shot some paint on the body. Not the final coat, would like to get a couple more on at least. Finished the motor aside from painting the oil filter. Lol you always notice something in the pictures after you think your done for the night... Anyway put a few logo decals on the hood and painted the wheels black. I was then itching to see what the car was going to look like so I did a dry fit to see everything together (that's why the wheels look wonky). Here are a few pics hope you enjoy. Well got a little bit more done tonight.. Love tinkering through the evening and early morning!! I got a lot of engine detail done before the pulleys and fan belt go on. This way I had lots of room to get in with my needle nose pliers and cut the wires. So I ran fuel lines and sorta made throttle linkage (yes I still have to hook up a throttle cable,waiting to do this when motor is in place). I made a distributer out of a small straw ran my wires through it and painted it gold. First time doing the carb details so please let me know what your thoughts are!! Also here is my reference pic. Hey there guys got a little more done tonight.. Attached the carbs and air filters to the the engine. Need to hit them with a little black wash.. Started to work on the interior. Got it all painted semi gloss black. And tried racing harnesses for the first time, lol they will work for this time I guess. Also got lookin through the parts box and found these wheels and tires from the 2 in 1 32 window coupe. They will work nicely. Better than the other 2 options I think. Thanks for lookin.

Hey there. Finally made it home to get some work done. I got a very little done on the motor as I was waiting for paint to dry on other parts. But my order from hobby clinic came in. Can't decide which wheels to use... Thanks for lookin!!! More to come.
