Both came from Modelhaus the tires are t-270, and the hubcaps are labelled " lancers 4 bars ", i think they're supposed to be 56 or 57 lancers

All the mock up are done with the final wheels and hubcaps : wide white walls and lancers

i was afraid about all the finger print on the body before the paint, but there was no problem ... i didn't wash it before ...

yes , with an xacto knife , good ol' #11

i did it first this is how i did it first i spray the color that will be the outlining Hosted on Fotki then i put some thin masking tape ( 1 mm ) to draw the panel Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki then i spay the dark blue in the panels Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki then masking tape on the panel Hosted on Fotki and i spray the body (last) color . Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki hope it helps

A lot of people on different boards have asked about that car ! i don't know if it's the same you're talking about , i think the name is Miller or something like that ... i wasn't inspired by that car because i didn't knew it when starting my project ! I was inspired by a rear view of Andy Southard car in his book , just the top of the rear fender ! That part was really nicely done, but i don't dig the rest... even if the car look great ! I wanted the same kind of panel on the top of the rear fenders on mine , and did the rest of the car to go with them

here is my finished 57 ford i did like it was kustomised when new 54 chevy grille from an amt part pack, scratch build 56 f100 headlight rings ( from a 55 chevy hubcap !!!!), satelite tailites , 58 lancers hubcaps , sectionned bumper guards , diamond tuck n roll interior and.... wild paint !
