da liner is done ! I've tried to give her the look of a late 50's kustom, as if she was customized as new . Focus is not on the body mods, but on the paint ! Just a little shave and a panel job inspired by the work of the king Larry Watson I had a lot of fun, trying to duplicate some of the trend of that area like chrome tape on the top, scalloped dummys, and plexi tailites with bullets Moderate lowering, handmade lake pipes and 59 Lancers hubcaps complete the look... interior is very white roll and pleats ... Yes i'm french ! but kustom nuts are worlwile Nothing is brushed, only airbrushed you can see how i did it on my fotki ... at least for the first try, because i forgot to take every pics for the second try i used only masking tape ... i've learned that tip on Lil, very talented painter on that board !

No problem my friend ! as i said on Trak, i'm more than proud to inspire somebody else's build ! I had plan for a 69 Rivi myself with the custom front and rear like yours , and as a Lowrider for sure !

Thanks again guys ! the headlites came from that same amt 59 vette that gave the grille, i made a wash with white paint because of the molded chromed " glass"

Thank you guys ! as for the pics, i've got a old nikon coolpix, 4 mega pixels with a tripod, and i just put my model on a with paper with two lamp... i'll make a pic of my little studio i you want !

this is Monogram 41 Linc, with a 40 ford deck lid, and shortened 49 merc roof .... amazing ! But you're right, we need a resin of it !

For the last model of the year i did a quickie ! two weeks to convert a ugly lookin vette in a decent looking street machine .... As you can see, a 62 vette has a very strange design ! 58-60 front end with the rear end from a 63-67... and has it was not enough, she even don't have one of those sexy toothy grille the Vette weared since 53 ! Hosted on Fotki What i did is to put a 59 vette toothy grille and chromed headlites , shave a little the body, slam it to the ground and on 20" Vortex ( Hoppin Hydro ) ... and i really like the result ! Thank you guys ! The idea for the lines on the roof came after seeing lotsa cool and wild patterns on most of the build on LiL the lowrider Board ! To say the truth, those guys do very intricate stuff , very elaborate, and i just wanted to try so i had to go the easy route ! nothing common with work of the art you can see on Lil... but i will try harder next time ! Thanks for the nice comments everybody ! the chrome on the bumperette is a nice idea, may be for another ! i've got a few resin bodies that didn't turned out great but for my personnal use, they not that bad

not sure of the scale, 1:24 or 1:25 because there nothing written on the box, but definetely not 1:32 It's multi piece body, not very accurate, a reedition fron the 50's i guess
