  1. I remember your build Sergey, second to none and thanks for your interest.
  2. time for an o/o build. 2 toned paint and some chrome. maybe a little striping to go with it. first time for this kit, should be fun. love the box art as with all the amt truck kits.
  3. what's next a she shed ?
  4. a few fit issues but still a fun build and great addition to my built list.
  5. holy smokes gumball, don't throw your good wrenches where it's gritty.

  7. worlds of difference, nice job saving it
  8. very nice scratch building
  9. thanks guys. had to trim a quarter inch out of the intake piping. got the air cleaner mounted and piping hooked up. may take the marker lights off and paint them, not crazy about the chrome. the front wheel track is a hair wide may narrow it some. considering a roof mount ac unit or the spoiler. need more flat black for hood hinges and radiator touch up.
  10. thanks Mark and Kerry. got the wing windows and window gaskets done. got the cab set in place. like the company logos from the diamond reo so I decided to use them. marker lights, horn, air vents, mirrors, grab handles and emblems were put on with a minimum of chrome. thanks all for following and checking in.
  11. thanks guys. with the hood sitting on the hinges there is a gap between it and the cab. so I took a little off the back of the engine to allow the cab to move forward and tighten up the gap. next will be taking the cab apart and detailing it.
  12. thank you all for the kindness and input.
  13. the rear cab mounts were cut down allowing the front to be dropped to match it. thanks for your interest.
  14. hehehe, I didn't plan ahead. she better like her home in the basement is all I know.
  15. Thank You DJ. test fitting the cab showed the drivers side fuel tank was out of level. so I freed the front mount and dropped the front of the tank down to level. there are fit issues with the interior tub sitting on the front mounts properly, so I filed the locator pins down. the firewall hits the back of the engine. next step is test fitting the hood on its pivots. thanx all for the comments and criticisms.
  16. thanks guys
  17. interior about done. painted all tan and looks ok with the blue. I enjoy doing interiors. firewall started
