  1. thanx all for checking in and commenting. need another fuel tank, that's next.
  2. radiator and engine work continues
  3. rears started and pumping up tires.
  4. Dave, dipping a clean swab once in thinner should be enough to take the film off. never soak parts in thinner.
  5. if realism is what you seek, take silver brush paint and paint entire exposed surface quickly. before dry take a cotton swab and start removing paint to give the desired finish you are looking for. use this on every chrome piece except front bumper and mirror faces. work quickly with swab until achieving desired appearance. for front bumper rub lightly with a clean dry tissue only with no paint. next, throw away all the gimmick paints on the market. this all works well on cars also. I have personally used this technique since the early 70's. if you are unhappy with the results clean part with thinner and try again.
  6. level switch added for bags. front wheels before and after holes have been cleaned and enlarged. rears have had the same treatment. do not remove the chrome finish if you want a realistic polished aluminum look. more on that later.engine work has been started.
  7. super work by all, thanx for sharin'. ;-))
  8. you did a great job junkman. probably new and clean on mine with a simple paint job.
  9. lots of bling looks best on dark colors. dark it will be. larger fuel tanks also.
