Wonderiing what I'm doing wrong using the airbrush, My paint job is not consistent with the shade . House of color paint, has sat for well over 3months, I shook it ,for awhile, then took a skewer stick to stir for just a bit . What I notice was at the bottom of the bottle there was a blue layer of Paint. (?) This color is Lavender ( Purple) inside .. I even held the brush close to the model ,to get a nice consistent shade. This happen with nail polish Camaro I did , that turn out better. Thanks Mike.

I'm gonna buy the 1966 ford stock car from AMT.

Can anybody tell me what kit from AMT / REVELL would have chrome reverse rims ( I'm really looking for plain white ones) ,maybe tell me of a stock car kit with a little wider tires? Thank you mike

So I'm the the poster of this topic, and I like the ideas. I'm gonna build a 1/24 or 1/25 studebaker from AMT. I would like to use sprue ,,, but if I can get evergreen ,,,I will try ... Going to look for Tyrone's posting's... If you would like to know ,I want to build a road racer ,( La Carrera Panamericanna) Road rally car... might be looking for tires ,and rims !! ( A little wider than stock , and plain looking reverse rims ( not chrome) some kits ,long a go ......... had plain rims ....... Mike

Wondering if any of you bend sprue ,and what do you do to heat it up ,? I'd like to bend sprue to the shape of the rear wheel house area.. Does anybody here ever make a whole sprue (tube chassis? Looks like my orignal post is deleted!!!

Wondering how you bend the sprue in a half circle to conform to the rest of the flat floor? I wondering if I can make a whole tube chassis out of sprue , or just make a partial tube chassis? Anybody ever try this? Thanks Mike Is this the right forum to post this too? That half circle I'm talking about goes next to the wheel house area!!!!!!!!!!!
