  1. Help please! I left my black Cincinnati Auto Replicas jacket under one of the contest tables. The jacket means a lot to me and I hope to get it back. Mike
  2. Gregg...Gregg....WAKE UP!!!!! Where are those pics? You looked awefully tired there by the end of Saturday. Can't be 'cause you stayed out too late Friday night. There were only 4-5 of us left at the Tiki Bar. Rick Forrester, Tom Kren, John Stark, Nick Sandone and myself as far as I can remember. We had a blast at Cheeseburgers in Paradise. The staff there ended up accomodating us very well....and the Rangers WON!!!! Can't wait to see the pictures as there is much of it I don't remember. I do remember Bob Dudek kissing and hugging everyone before he staggered out! Can't wait until next year!
  3. Ok Cranky, here's my latest: The Fairmont Speedway before the new season begins. Got my inspiration from a sign for the speedway on the web. I took the rest from there. See more here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v482/bon...ont%20Speedway/
  4. or Mr. Blue Stuff! By the way, just a warning...Ariel is bringing the Freezer!!!!!!
  5. to the third and last installment of the garage diorama column that was being described in MCMag?
  6. Beautiful job of weathering Tony!
  7. Looks like you've got a fledgling dioramist on your hands there Doug!
  8. Looks like you got that door down pat Tony. I like to use 1/25 scale figures to get an idea of how high a door or any other diorama part should look and your young lady looks just about right for that door.
  9. Jon, I would not recommend you make your dio so that trees and shrubs are removable. Every time you move them means you are taking something off of them or your chance of breaking or messing them up is high. I would recommend you build a box or cover to store it in or plexiglass pieces that insert in the front and top of your diorama so that they are removable. The only things I would make removable are some work benches & tools in a garage type dio and of course, cars. @ out of the last 4 MCM magazines is 2 of a 3 part study on building a diorama for a photographic background. It is more of a garage diorama than a landscape dio. The third part is due any issue now!
  10. WOW! That looks like it was a lot of fun Milt. Great use of an area that isn't used any more. Neat idea and great use of HO and 1/2" scales together. Looks great!
  11. He MUST be trustworthy. After all, he IS standing next to a NY Rangers fan.....
  12. ...and don't mind the green stuff on the ham, it wipes right off!
  13. Hey, now THAT's a cool idea!!!!!
  14. Looks great Mr. 1/16th. It is very hard to get all the details to make 1/16th look realistic but it looks like you are doing a good job of it.
  15. Been there done that Stanley! Could not move for 3 weeks...had to crawl to the bathroom. Would be out of breath after 1 step. Aweful, Aweful sickness! When I had MRI's taken they first thought I had lung cancer 'cause I had a growth (dead spot) in my lung. Scared the S@!#$#@$%T out of me!
  16. wowed, humbled, and full of more great ideas...right V?
  17. AWARDS! AWARDS! We don't need no stinkin' AWARDS! Just the chance to see YOU again Bill is reward enough!!!
  18. Thanks for those reminders Bill. I am sooooo looking forward to this years show at the new place and enjoying the fellowship with other modelers, especially dioramists (is that a word?). You guys always put on a great show and am sure this years will top them all. The "R.A.D. challenge" is being sent out by the diorama guys on the B&D Board and to be displayed with all the other dioramas on the tables at the NNL East. That is to say that there are no awards or special recognitions being made, only people getting together to talk about there inspirations and building styles in doing their R.A.D. I've talked to Tom, passed it on to the B&D people, and just to reiterate, This is NOT a challenge sanctioned by NNL EAST! And yes, Ken plans on driving his 40 passenger RV to the show for a washing!
  19. I'm IN D.C. Got a great idea for roadside signage. I'll be there with mine on April 12th. Who else is in?
