  1. I use Krylon Krystal Klear to overcoat questionable decals. Seems to work pretty well.
  2. Another more readily available alternative might be to simply tin the bolt heads with a soldering iron and electrical solder.
  3. Wow, I'll have to watch for that Tamiya kit! thanks for the tip. Tom Z
  4. I'm always looking for a better "chrome" paint to use with a brush for trim and small parts. I noticed that Model Master includes a "silver chrome" and also a "chrome silver." What is the difference between the two? thanks Tom
  5. I'd love to have a model of a Honda 360! I owned one when I was stationed in Japan in 1979. It was not repeat not overpowered but it was a lot of fun to drive. I assume that this will be a curbside model? One with an engine would be wonderful. It looked like the big brother of the Honda 350 motorcycle engine. Tom Z
  6. Howdy, Stan! I'm just west of Winston-Salem, myself. Retiring in a couple of months and looking forward to a lot more modeling activity. Tom
  7. WOW! If you build this,PLEASE post pics of WIP! thanks!
  8. I also use Testor's tail light red and amber. I definitely recommend the acrylic over the enamel, which has a funky metallic appearance. I like that Sharpie suggestion! I'll have to look into that.
  9. KEEP THE PICTURES COMING! I am loving this build!
