I'm doing a little research - anyone got pics of models they built back in the day (for those of us old enough to have been there anyway...) 70s or earlier would be great...as would any leads on old model show pics - anyone able to help?

Did it take a long time to dry, or need any special treatment? I've been buying bottles of this stuff recently but not tried actually spraying it yet... I love the kit too, great subject! Is it 1/25th? Where'd ya get it? Great work Jose!

Bob, that thing is COOL! I love it! Thanks so much for getting involved! Anyone who has a finished build they'd like to enter for this contest, the deadline is today. If you post pics and a description here I'll grab them and get the voting site built and ready for the start of the voting process tomorrow. If you dont want to post your pics here, sned them, along with a description to theflame@gmail.com Thanks guys!

Thanks for giving this a bump Lyle, and it's cool to see than there's some new interest in this contest. The deadline IS almost here for the 08 contest, but we'll be running another in 2009, assuming anyone's interested (seems like it!) Most of the updates and info will be on the WMBMR forum on AutoModelling.com, but I'll be duplicating the info everywhere else I've posted about this too

The blue and white ones are the same as my 1:1 - its an awesome little car, comfortable to drive, spacious given the size and it handles like a Mini Cooper. I love my Aygo! It doesnt impress the chicks much though -

This is my absolute favourite kit form my collection. I got some cool rare stuff and some old stuff and what have you, but this one is most important to me: -
Do you use Alclad lacquers Bernard? They'll help no end in achieving those metal finishes...you need an airbrush though...
-
Wow, I only just saw this build Bernard - I was checking all your threads out when I was writing the blog tonight. Think this one might have to get a feature too! 32s are my favourites!
-
Funny you should say that Gregg; I was just looking at this build thinking "hmmm, how hard would it be for me to build one just like it, but NEW?" Thanks for sharing Bernard - got any more cool old plastic lying around?
-
Haha, I didn't think anyone read it!
-
Great work Mike, love it!!
-
Great build Bernard, I love the look of this one
-
I have no idea what a finished build costs me - I've never finished one!
-
What a great looking build! Love it!
