Whoa! That paintwork is fantastic! I too would like to know which kit you used as a base. I'm having a heck of a time finding newer pickup models.

I've had this kit for years and have never got around to starting it. Yours looks perfect!

The weathering on this one is fantastic. I picked up the molded in white Canon version a couple of years ago, haven't started it yet. I kick myself, back in the late 80s on a trip to England, I bought the red version shown at a car boot sale. Slapped it together, it rolled off the shelf one too many times, and I tossed the whole things. I wish I hadn't done that. Would have been great to rebuild. I'm planning on building mine showroom stock. Although if I had weathering skills, yours would be an inspiration!

Hello from Edmonton, AB! Used to build a lot back in the 80s, throughout elementary school and junior high. Been getting back into it over the past few years. Been doing a great job of acquiring kits, not so great at cranking these things out! Have a few on the go right now. Will be posting pics along the way.
