  1. First Thunderbird scoops were functional There was no plate that needed to be removed. The air is channeled into the carb, see the cork seal on the aircleaner

  3. There was a time here in the desert , this time of year, that any auction you went to had a pretty nice parade of '55-'57's going to the block.

  10. The point here ( and you wouldn't get it not being from here ) is that there are virtually hundreds of "Berto" knock offs. I.E. Philabertos, Pollobertos, Uncle Bertos, Robertos, Bobertos, El Bertos, ad nauseous.

  12. I remember when my son was little, he had a bunch of Transformers. I was talking to him about them and discovered he was just shy of having them all, about 28 or 29. I suggest we visit the toy store to see if we could finish off his "collection". Upon arriving,to my surprise, the second "Set" was just released. Nope, wasn't going to get sucked into that one, sorry Brad. He went on to collect "baseball cards. For awhile.

  18. Funny thing, almost every year here in the desert , when the auctions come to town, at least one of the old Mercedes that crosses the block is a "Hitler" car.
  19. I know living in England '57-'61 we had a bunch. But just the same, nice start.
