Sounds like a visit to Mom's house in Tucson. I remember moving there it 1961. The lady selling the house was adamant, "those planes out there don't fly."
I think Colby is correct in that most of us feel the same way. Basically, it's just not up to par and is quite a let down when you are expecting more, and you have plans that just fall short with the parts provided,i.e. the chassis.
So let's boycott one or the other. We'll show 'em.

No, just fond memories. I did get up that way to watch the show. I was down at Naha NAF, '70-'74, P-3's, A-4's, A-6's F-4's, F-8's , P-2's, S-2's and USAF C-130's, now there's a short take off show.
Maybe that's the point here. Those days are long gone. Why should we put up with such old technology? Isn't it about time for a new kit of this favorite old Ford ?
Along the same lines Davem, when I got stationed in Okinawa back in the early '70's I was surprised not to see the dash boards in the cars in Japanese . They were all in English.
