  1. The most ubiquitous song , "Little Deuce Coupe " has a bunch of possibilities. i.e. Chopped vs stock height, full fendered or high boy, and then there's the "Lakes pipes". Induction on the "Flat Head Mill" ?
  2. With Revell's new "stock" height '48 Ford coupe not far off couldn't RM2 jump in as it were on their coat tails and cook up a "41 Ford Coupe? Seems like they could also get in on the Model A Roadster deal the same way.
  3. an all time favorite
  4. I've done a few, I like trucks too. On the bench now
  5. Thanks for the straight forward answer " So when it comes under question by trouble maker and a casual poster, " ? My 6866 post since
  6. Thanks for the straight forward answer Chris. " So when it comes under question by trouble maker and a casual poster, " Clayton ? My 6866 post since July 2007 against what ? All I said was I didn't know what the acronym stood for , never said anything else good or bad or take it off the forum.
  7. Not a truck guy , but find it aggravating when an acronym is used as if it were common knowledge.

  9. Have you been to Barns and Noble and looked at their magazine selection? Yeah, I know, "Book stores, a dying breed." There are more titles covering more subjects than one could imagine. and, they sell vinyl . Yep, old obsolete tech. Who woulda thought? I think the problem is distribution. Fewer places are willing to give up the space to showcase these titles. Places where only a few years ago carried many titles are down to only what they feel are main stream titles. What really gripes me are all the "Mens " magazines that fill the racks, muscle this and body building and the gossip magazines.
  10. . . . and going the other way, those old AMT '32 Ford cycle fenders make great sports car fender flares. Used them on a Grand Sport build years before the Accurate Miniatures issue.
  11. You guys just ain't tryin too hard.
  12. . . . and in BIGGER scales too
  13. The older Monogram Model A kits had em in 1/24th scale.
  14. Two more with cycle fenders
  15. Something older (hard to find) and a little bigger (1/20th scale maybe?)
  16. something different ?
