  1. yep, fill up the band width, go in and dump some old post. Sorry. Seems like a sorry way to post as well .
  2. works great huh ?
  3. Don't you just love how these "New Release" threads turn into a "wish list" ?
  4. I taught that class my one year teaching Jr. High,
  5. JETX all over the web : https://www.google.com/search?q=JETEX+50+rocket+engine&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=775&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=0CAgQ_AUoA2oVChMIzMij8JqayQIVhmMmCh2Tewat#imgrc=_
  6. So I'm confused, will there be enough pieces to build two complete cars , the Ala Kart with parts that are NOT "Retooled" , and the stock roadster ?
  7. Thanks Tim, I couldn't find it, I knew you'd keep us up to date on these things. Thanks again.
  8. Oooops. My bad
  9. Tim, how about a thread about the other kits you talked about on the "other" board ?
  10. Revisionist experts ? A garage full of cars doesn't make one an expert. Through the years the meaning of terms change, weather through miss use or miss understanding. Seems simple enough, "Hubcap", covers the hub; "Wheel cover", covers the wheel. Do we need to get into this as well ?

  17. The inspiration is the big thing. I know I'll never get around to building all of them. Not so much a where, but maybe a why, being a high school auto shop teacher at one point, guess I'm always on the look out for interesting stuff for the class room.
  18. Just a waste of good tin.
  19. Like I said, reading is fundamental.
  20. Just an attempt to get people thinking / talking. I thought it unusual seeing two bottle jacks at the front of the vehicle, which I don't believe is a Buick as the cowl is too flat. The chained, broken wheel / tire has me wondering if came from the rear of the vehicle. Seeing a bunch of guys standing around doing nothing is pondering as well. I liked the color quality of the old photo, never thought the image might not be original color. Me, I'm just thankful we don't have to drive around in open cars any more. I drove an MGA for many years with a great heater , I know what cold is. Just my thoughts and ramblings, no right or wrong answer, funny how the attempts at humor abound. Sorry if you expected more.
  21. Reading is fundamental. from OP. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2015/11/12/the-mystery-roadster-of-boyle-heights/?refer=news
