  1. A shop teacher once told me, " If it's worth doin', pull over and use both hands."
  2. Found this http://www.suicideknob.net/ and these https://www.google.com/search?q=suicide+knobs&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=799&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=LkEVVJmTEqK5igKXt4HwAQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg the thing is you just don't see em on model cars. I wonder if any kits have them?
  3. You guys have really come through with all the scale models. Great job.
  4. Except for the Vavle cover bolt pattern.
  5. I'd say it was your call. The early Cads and Olds looked similar. They were certainly totally different engines. With the distinctly marked Cadillac Valve covers you get the Cad. The other ( basically the same engine) with the custom chrome valve covers you could call it an Olds. The kit engines are all the same except for the Valve covers and induction systems. Later kits had a tunnel ram with two four barrels.
  6. the red and gold ones don't count ?
  7. Here are some rare ones :
  8. I think that's what I just said.
  9. I knew that, same group.
  10. I have a reader APP on my phone. Doing the same thing makes Jack a dull boy, or something along those lines. and why not try something new ?
  11. wouldn't it be great if someone shared that good stuff and got something going?
  12. Okay, you all think it's silly. Have any of you tried to make it work ? I think there may be some merit here, you play games on your phones? Why not build a model while you're sitting there waiting for the little lady to come out of that dressing room with an arm full of dresses she just had to try on.
  13. also as pointed out, they are made of many different metals sometimes painted, sometimes not.
  14. Like any engine they were painted many colors by the factory and by the many different people putting them in one thing and another.
  15. Wonder what happened to all their work on that kit? Hmmmm, Revell ? They did get the leftovers of the Corvette Grand Sports.
  16. that's on the neighbor as well as the postal employee. as has been pointed out, honesty is on all, not just the postal employees.
  17. just makin' sure you are awake.
  18. A good case for requiring a "Complete" personal profile. Too many shadow posters, you hardly get a real name.
  19. Some of these kits are on their fifth, sixth and seventh lap.
  20. Man, look at that, Cobras everywhere. and all in race livery.
