  1. Come on guys, show us the box tops.
  2. My "disaster build" was a plane too. And it did fly, into the wall with all my frustration. My Mom responded " I think you dropped something.". I did eventually restore my hard fought efforts and compleated the kit and it did everything but fly.
  3. I did a "Box Top" build post based on this great build but someone MOVED it to the "underglass" place.
  4. Side panel's fine. so is that Cobra, Ray.
  5. OK, show me something that just "Nails it ' for you, nothing wrong. Don't be afraid to critique mine or other post, so if you put something up, it had better be good.
  6. Well there you go. I really wasn't picking on this car in particular, but using it as an example. I find when ever I go to a show , be it 1:1 or model, many cars catch my eye (interest) with the caveat, "That's great looking, but . . . I think I'd change this . . . or . . . that ." On occasion, I have spotted a car that hits it right off. To be sure, the roadster in Jeff's post is a survivor that has surely evolved through time, the true nature of this hobby.
  7. I liked Roger Hayes' box top build I thought it would be a great idea for a thread.
  8. If that's a build by a 7 or 8 year old, wow, good job. Either way it's still a great build. I really enjoy Box Top builds.
  9. One of the first "Hot Rod" models I bought and built. Back in the day.
  10. May I add ? And a question for you: How long would these last in a store today ?
  11. Stack neatly,(considering weight, keeping them dry and cool) categorize them, so you don't end up buying multiples. I'd bet there are a bunch of other considerations.
  12. Ed, I see your IMC kits, and raise you with the classic "everything opens and moves Revell Tri 5 Chevey kits. Although I must agree they are in the same league.
  13. Probably one of mine. My stuff is always getting moved or deleated.
  14. I thought it was about exploding vessels
  15. The great little roadster Jeff showed us in his "Traditional HAH! " post got me thinking about this. The Mustang steering wheel just jumps out, saying "wrong part / wrong year". There are other things, but to each his ( or her ) own.
  16. The early AMT Cobra Roadster had one also.
  17. The caps are a lot of trouble. Run with out them now, Shelby style.
