  1. Icons! Hollywood Knights '57 Chevy Project X # (that's number, not hashtag ) 46 ? The most iconic Tee bucket ever ? No make that the first Tee Bucket ever. # 39 ? Falfa / Two Lane Black Top '55 Chevy # 26/27 ? Corvette Summer ??? what ever it is , even on the list ? "THE" Hot Rod movie Willys not on the list ? I guess that's more than my two cents worth.
  2. http://www.round2models.com/models/accessories/drag-gasser-wheels For you in August
  3. I think Andy's has monthly sales Danno. 59th and Greenway road.
  4. These two seemed to do alright and their new shot at parts pack tires also seem to be moving. Just seems to me that Revell could jump on the band wagon and shoot us some of those double kits. They've paid their dues, making the molds etc. and everyone likes the retro box art. My thought was take some of those single shot sprues, engines, bodys, and chassis and throw them all in a box like AMT / Stevens / Round2 did and there you have it, a great 10 way kit. Well there's more math to it than that but you get the idea. I think AMT kinda dropped the ball not giving us a chassis in the "Competition" parts box kit.
  5. Yes, ol' Calvin is always funny, and , heck, it is a model.
  6. Awww, Bret, wondered where you were. How is it you are always the spokesman for all the model companys ? Let's talk about the "Double " kits.

  9. A friend of mine had one when they first came out, somewhere around 1960. It was big, about 2x2 feet. We ended up trashing it and using the parts to build the superstructure of an aircraft carrier ( 0n a 4x8 sheet of plywood) for our 1/48th scale planes. 7th & 8th grade, what did we know? We had fun.

  11. So what would we gain ? They're all the same except for the front wheels on the Blue Beetle If you're really after these wheels, the "Coffin'" is out now.
  12. Would you buy this kit , It would have three body's, three engines and two chassis (all in one box)? I don't think there would be any more pla$tic than any other kit for the money.
  13. I'd guess it's like your "stash" of kits. If you've been in the hobby any length of time, much less six decades, you'll have a few books. Just moved into a new home and had to buy a new book case to hold the over flow that had been accumulated in the old one. So that's about four automotive / aircraft book cases for me not counting the big one in the garage with my full collection of Hot Rod Magazine including all of the specials through the years ( year books, engine specials, pictorials I.E.). Here are a few books on Cobras : http://www.amazon.com/TOP-ELEVEN-COBRA-BOOKS/lm/R3HOPU136F8IRG/ref=cm_lm_byauthor_title_full
